My shower started leaking a week ago and I've just gotten around to fixing it (oof).

Here's what I did:

• unscrewed shower head + soaked in white vinegar to de-limescale it

• scrubbed shower head

• applied thread tape to the shower head threads

• put it back together

• that didn't work

So then I:

• turned off the water mains

• unscrewed the cold water tap

• got a wrench and released the nut (hiyo!)

• pulled out the old washer/valve and replaced it with one that's not identical but has worked in the past with the hot water tap

• used thread tape on it for good measure

• put the tap back together

AFTER ALL OF THAT:

• It's still leaking from the shower head

What am I doing wrong here?

This leak is driving me literally insane.

The only potential issue I can think of is that I used the wrong type of wide diameter washer on the tap. The replacement was rubber, and thicker, than the original + the original was NOT rubber and was a thin, ridged construction

Background: I'm looking for ways to advertise and take bookings for a little old motel but I'm a little concerned about screwing it up and getting fired lol - are there potential setbacks or pitfalls with booking.com?

I'm watching the Subnautica 2 stream and it isn't connecting because Ethan's 1) in control of the situation, 2) has infinite lives. Mid

Like, I wanna see him scrambling for survival and outfoxing the environment and bantering to the Nth degree with a straight up trolling crew.

By contrast, the scam line stream was incredible. I was glued to the tv! There was a real story there and I felt like I could really root for Ethan as an underdog character (No pun intended)

Tl;Dr: Ethan and the crew need to play games that turn up the stress levels for all involved - that shit is funny ☮️🕊️
