Need help diagnosing a misfire in a 2016 ram 1500 5.7l
I've got a 2016 ram 1500 5.7l v8, just got it knowing about the misfire. (Cylinder 6). It was a dead miss at all times, swapped plugs and coils, no difference. Pulled the rocker cover, found the intake valve barely moving. Sure enough it needed lifters and cams (intake lobe for cylinder 6 was completely worn off)
I replaced the camshaft, lifters, and mds solenoids (even pulled out the magnets underneath them to clean off the metal shavings) and I still have a misfire on cylinder 6 at idle. I pulled the rocker cover again and turned the engine by hand, and I can see the valves moving correctly, and the pushrods are in the correct place. I'm kind of at a loss at this point as to where to go from here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
