How to setup decos with a different router

I have some deco units and a BE3600. My modem is in the unfinished basement that is basically a dungeon. Should I connect the BE3600 to the ONT as the main router and use decos as access points or should a deco be the main router and use the BE3600 in my office as an access point?

One long run or 2-3 short ones?

I’m having Ethernet installed next week and I have a dilemma. My ONT is on the other side of the house and I don’t have an attic that spans the whole house so it’s going to require going through walls and ceilings or other ways. Would one long run be better or breaking it up into two or three shorter runs connected with switches?

Edit: sorry I communicated. Verizon ONT > deco router > switch and the switch would run the cables to the rest of the house. And if there’s a better option please let me know

Burnie is batting 1.000 with his takes this week: Just sell your Tesla

Yesterday the Lumalee slander. Today just sell your car, and I’m making the assumption get a different one. Sell your depreciating asset and just buy a different car. I get it if you bought a Tesla you probably have a good job with good pay. As someone who would love an EV but has no car payment it’s insane to me to just say get a new car instead of a bumper sticker because people do over react to things like what car you drive or what console you buy.

The Lumalee disrespect

I cannot stand by while Burnie and Ashley disrespect Lumalee like that! They are the heart and soul of the movies!

Which for photography storage?

Sorry for a question that's been asked before but i'm in over my head and could use a straight forward answer. I'm looking for a NAS for storing my photos for the last 5-10 years. These are what I'm looking at but if there is something better please let me know. Not interested in Plex/Jellyfin. And second question will an old Toshiba HDWD120 work for the short term while I save up for a larger HDD?

Is it safe to run cat6 cable along the exterior walls of my house?

My Verizon ONT is on the complete other side of the house and running cables through the wall and the ceiling is going to be a pain to do (please just trust me on this). Is there any cons or dangers to running a a UV shielded cable in a cable cover around the outside of the house to get to my office? It would take around 300 feet of cable.

What did the thieves want? (2017 Kia Forte)

Update: Thanks for the replies. I figured they were just trying to steal the car but wasn’t sure if there was something else missing. Time for the police report and insurance call

If this isn’t the right place for this question I’m sorry. Just got back from vacation and my 2017 Kia forte had a window shattered and the steering column ripped apart. Does anyone have an idea what they might have been after? I can’t start the car because the key won’t fit in the ignition. Sorry again if this isn’t the right subreddit and please point me to the correct one. Thanks!

Is there any talk about a smaller 70-200 lens?

Canon and Sony have compact 70-200mm lenses and I haven’t seen any talk about Nikon making one. Is there any talk about one coming or is it just a dream?

Help with getting better focus

I’ve been having trouble grabbing and keeping focus on subjects. The AF loves grabbing plants on initial focus (especially shooting from a far distance). And when I’m holding the shutter down and shooting bursts I will sometimes lose focus. Is this user error because I’m free handing a giant lens and my hand is shaking? Other than a monopod/tripod are there other things I can do to fix this?

z5ii
Aperture Priority
600mm (lens: 160-600mm)
f / 7.1
1/1000
ISO 800
AF Mode: 3D tracking with Bird subject

Edit: also have back button focus on the AF-ON button
