Wishlist Wednesday, feat. my own photos

EDIT: Okay some of these definitely didn't upload properly and IDK why, so my apologies!

It's Wishlist Wednesday again! This time I've added some animals I hope to see in PZ2 and used photos I took myself! I've been very lucky to see all of these species in the wild!

Additionally I know some are already in PZ1 but I'd really like to see them in PZ2 as well!

First world problems come October!

I'm going to Singapore for a holiday and am flying back home on the 13th of October, allowing me to play Planet Zoo 2 on the 14th (which is actually the release date in Australia).

I'll be torn between playing and editing photos! The struggles 😂😂

My birthday is the 12th as well, so PZ2 does feel like a nice birthday present!

My favourite type of bird!

Hi everyone ❤️ lover of all, owner of none. I'm an Aussie and I absolutely love parrots of all shapes and sizes!

While I don't own any parrots myself, I love taking photos of them in the wild. As an Aussie, this is thankfully pretty straightforward as this beautiful country has so many species!

If you had to choose, what are THREE parrot species that you'd like to see in the wild?

For me, my top three (that I haven't seen) are:

- Scarlet Macaw

- Budgerigar

- Palm Cockatoo

EDIT: Most of my photos are from Australia as that's the country I live in and see the most parrots in. I've also seen 3 species in India, 1 in Vanuatu, and 1 a very long time ago in NZ. The Ringneck photo was taken in India!

Photos:

1: Cockatiel

2: Sulphur Crested Cockatoo.

3: Rainbow Lorikeet

4: Red-rumped Parrot

5: King Parrot

6: Galah

7: Carnaby's Cockatoo (endangered)

8: Greater Bluebonnet

9: Indian Ringneck

10: Musk Lorikeet

11: Swift Parrot (critically endangered)

Gifts and friends from around the globe!

Hey all! Your friendly neighbourhood Aussie here! I'm on a quest to get a postcard from as many countries and territories as I can!

I still have around 10 gifts left from Vanuatu when I visited in June. I'm happy to gift those for places I don't have!

I'm also heading to Singapore and Malaysia in October so I am happy to try and snag some from there too!

Note, I know some of these are pretty unrealistic but I can still dream! After all I've managed to get postcards from Belarus, Russia, and Iran so nothing is off the table!

Countries/territories I'm missing:

Europe: Faroe Islands, San Marino, Vatican City

Asia: Afghanistan, Christmas Island, Cocos Island, Maldives, North Korea, Palestine, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Yemen

Africa: Benin, British Indian Ocean Territory, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Chad, Comoros, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, French Southern Territories, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mayotte, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Somaliland, South Sudan, Sudan, Sao Tome and Principe, Togo, Uganda, Western Sahara, Zambia

Americas: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Carribbean Netherlands, Haiti, Montserrat, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Turks and Caicos Islands, US Virgin Islands, Falkland Islands

Oceania: American Samoa, Cook Islands, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru/Naoreo, Niue, Norfolk Island, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Wallis and Futuna

Wishlist Wednesday - the Short-beaked Echidna

The animal I so desperately wanted for Planet Zoo more than any other.

Reasons I personally think they'd fit well in PZ2's base game animal roster:

- cool addition with new egg laying system

- found in multiple countries in Oceania (Papua New Guinea and Australia)

- adds to a desperately lacking Oceania roster

- could probably use the same rig as the Aardvark

- 100% awesome and a staple in Australian zoos

I'd love the "Spire of Shock" in PlanCo2

In the original planet coaster, there was a blueprint known as the "Spire of Shock". This was based on a real roller coaster in Dreamworld, Australia known as the "Tower of Terror". It was a reverse freefall coaster, one of only two in the world.

I tried to make it in PlanCo2 but, this specific coaster type doesn't seem to exist. Is it in a DLC I don't own? (I own vintage, deluxe, and sorcery). If it isn't...please frontier bring it back!

Both real coasters have since been shut down (Tower of Terror 2 in 2019, Superman: Escape from Krypton in 2025). Learning both of them are gone breaks my heart, it was my favourite coaster in the world.

Relicanth...not just an NZ exclusive

I went for a holiday to Vanuatu and to my surprise learnt that Relicanth spawns there! I thought Relicanth was a regional exclusive only for NZ, but I guess not!!

So to anyone out in Oceania, a holiday in Vanuatu will get you this regional exclusive 😊

Temporary ocean gifts!

Hey everyone!

I'm in Vanuatu on holiday for a few days, and have the rare opportunity to give some Ocean gifts! (I usually reside in River region)

I love collecting postcards. If you live in a country I don't have or have something REALLY cool, let me know, or post your friend code!

Countries/territories I'd love to get that I don't have yet:

Africa: Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eswatini, Gambia, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, São Tome and Principe, Sudan, South Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia

Europe: Faroe Islands, Guernsey, Isle of Man, San Marino, Vatican City

South America: Falkland Islands, French Guiana

North/Central America: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Bermuda, Greenland, Guadaloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Nicaragua

Asia/Middle East: Bhutan, Maldives, Tajikistan

Oceania: American Samoa, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Norfolk Island, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu

I've got other "unrealistic" ones I'd love like Eritrea, Djibouti, Belarus, Afghanistan, North Korea, Yemen, etc. but, realistically I know that's not happening 😂😂
