who is in summer school?

First day of summer school for algebra. One teacher teaching 3 different algebra subjects. four guys in my Algebra 1 only one is from my school. I think most are taking other algebras to get ahead which is a majority of the class and all from different schools. 

We have no books, so the teach sends all the guys to a temp classroom on other side of campus to pick them up. everyone wants to show how tough they are so they load up with books to their chins, and i carry nothing back to our classroom. 

so i’m body guard taking point —  clearing exits, entries, rooftops as the team traverses its way back to base. we make it across the courtyard evading the any enemy. we make it back to the main building — hallway clear! 

into the stairwell 3 flights to go, i get to the first landing between floors 1 & 2 my “friend” is directly behind me and starts shouting “papapapa” (i recognize the sounds) then he says “your dead bro”. i promptly fall onto my back and play dead; my eyes are closed but i sense the squad stepping over my body  up the stairs to class. “haha” “your horrible” “that’s what you get for not carrying books” and finally some kid drops his books on top of me. i get up and run up stairs — he can pick them up.
