feeling like an NPC

i dont know if any other low iq ppl relate but i really feel like an NPC
everyday i wake up and go to work
i barely talk to my family or coworkers i just find it too hard to come up with what to talk about
and i often just end up smiling and looking weird
i am barely noticed by others in public especially school and im used to people not knowing who i am despite me knowing them
i remember many times ive been with friends just for them to forget im with them or some of them just leaving me mid conversation
but i cant blame them either im a boring person with no personality or hobbies
if i disappeared no one would notice or even care if i did, i have brought nothing into this useless life of mine

no hobbies

i dont think this is has anything to do with having a low iq but i have like no real hobbies
the only things i like to do is go to starbucks (like twice a month bc its unhealthy) and scroll on any short video platform
i really dont do anything else on my days off at work except chores
would having a low iq make it more difficult for one to find hobbies in the first place or am i coping and im just a loser

Embrasement after psychological assessment

I recently had gone to a psychiatrist or psychologist (I’m not too sure of the difference) to see if I could be low iq or have some sort of neurological condition

i had waited a year and when I went i stupidly forgot to mention anything about iq testing. so I don’t none of that done

i left embarrassed and with no official confirmation of anything I wish I was smart enough to plan this through I ended up wasting everyon else’s time

Should I even try getting another job?

last summer I worked at a spray park i struggled quite a bit with talking to parents but I was too scared to talk to a majority of my coworkers. it was so embarrassing and I remember at the end of the year at a work party I was the only person with no friends or acquaintances.

this summer I got a new job ( lifeguard/ instructor) and it’s a lot more social. and I am failing miserably in every social aspect. I can’t talk to my coworkers, I have other problems talking, teaching etcc.

I plan on quitting soon because I genuinely can’t handle going into work anxious every single day but I really wonder if it’s over for me job wise if I can’t even talk to coworkers

Social anxiety or am I dumb

i can’t keep a conversation going for like more than 5 minutes without then stuttering or saying nonsense mid way through. as a kid my social anxiety was pretty bad and I didn’t talk to many people but as I’ve gotten older it’s not been as bad (no treatment) but I’ve tried to force myself to talk to people to get over the anxiety it really hasn’t helped at all with how I communicate

and when it happens I don’t particularly feel anxious ? it’s more just a tightness in my chest and I happens with family, friends and strangers

kid wanting more attention

so i have this swimmer one class with only 3 kids thankfully but one of the kids is very young and doesnt seem be interested in swimming at all
i tell her to do things and demonstrate stuff as well but she says she doesn’t want to do anything or just ignores me and does her own thing. and the second
i leave her to focus on other kids she screams for help and her mom comes to scold me
the other kids in the class are very interested in swimming and do pay attention but i cant give them enough attention without the mom getting mad when i leave her child for a second what do i do??

- im not that far away from her either just a few steps away and i put her in a life jacket + have her standing on a dock bc she cant reach the bottom.
i feel like i post really frequently on here sorry

Forced to take others shifts?

teaching swim lessons is kinda my first job so I have no idea how things really work and stuff etc.. (I turned 18 this year) but recently my manager has been giving me my coworkers lesson shifts without asking me. is this normal practice? ( i didn’t accept the shifts either)

and its weeks ahead of time too not just them calling in sick last minute and me being told to cover.

im also wondering if its my fault for making my availability very open to begin with.

Never doing anything right- rant

for some reason I just can’t do anything correctly. I can sleep correctly so my head hurts all the time , i cant sit correctly so my neck hurts

i cant do my job correctly so I’m constantly corrected by coworkers, i can’t talk to people correctly so I have no friends. and I can’t preform my hobbies correctly either i always mess up

i probably wouldn’t kill myself properly if i

tried

Cooked for residence

i plan on going to queens, and I applied for residence before the deadline . But the other day when I got my selection time it was the wrong time. (llc instead of general pool)

i emailed queens but they responded very vaguely and I genuinely don’t think I’ll get a response soon enough (my selection time is early morning on a monday 🫩🫩). I’m scared I’ll be put on a wait list or something or end up not getting residence at all.

for anyone applying next year do not opt out of an llc or at least research it before blindly picking one like me and then opting out 😔

Residence problems

so I had originally been in an llc but then opted out before the deadline which then put me into the general pool for residence applications ( I had an email telling me this as well)

But yesterday I got my time for the residence application and it’s on July the 13th for an llc despite being emailed that I am not a part of an llc anymore

I sent out an email yesterday but I’m worried I won’t get a response. And my time to choose is also early in the morning on Monday so I’m kinda stressing out that I won’t even get a room at all

any tips? sorry for not posting on the mega thread

Constantly embarrassing myself

sometimes I say a lot of things out loud with confidence when it’s completely wrong. and i its always so embarrassing.

and even worse a lot of it is basic stuff, and for some reason i just don’t remember it or whatever. people have constantly called me slow or stupid because of it as well

ive now stopped speaking up or acting on anything important all together. Its not like anyone ever takes me seriously anymore they all know im a delusional moron.

has anyone else dealt with this?

learning a new language?

i was wondering if any of you have managed to learn a new language with a low iq
i’ve always wanted to learn a new language, but i never put any effort but i was wondering if my low intellect could also be a reason
and if you speak multiple languages how difficult was the process?

how to help children with disabilities in big classes

im a new swim instructor (teen) and i was kind of forced into lessons (I originally assumed id just be life guarding)
the lessons im teaching are about 30 minutes long and i teach at my local swim facility, and ive noticed that quite a bit of my students have autism in my classes.
the parents didn’t inform me beforehand so i had no idea until i saw how differently they acted.
and the kids with autism in my classes are completely non swimmers ( cant even float) and theyre in swimmer 2.
i find it difficult to have to teach the kids different curriculums at once as im a very new instructor and cant remember everything off the top of my head.
and since my classes are big and short I really dont have a lot of time to support all of the students properly.
i really want to at least get the few kids to kearn how to at least float, but they dont seem to take in feedback, so how can i do this
without also neglecting the other non autistic kids?

how do people just live without knowing how to integrate with u-sub?

or even use power rule??

without these things what does one even do, eat and sleep?

should people who can’t derive things be allowed to live in our canadian society?
