I noticed when playing a 2 player game, a leader like Demagogue (influence court cards on declaring ambition) is too OP as ur chances of declaring ambition are much higher, while a Leader like Mystic isn’t as advantageous (gain Psionic when u copy or pivot while taxing) cos u might be declaring more
Which other leaders suffer from the same issues?
I usually only have 1 async game on the digital app at a time, and can’t really commit to live games. So I’ve been playing mainly against the bots on hard mode. I’m pretty new to the game and wanna use that as practice or to learn the new factions.
For factions like LOTH or Eyrie I feel like it’s kinda straightforward against AI but for riverfolk or maybe lizards I have a hunch that the AI is not gonna play like humans, since there is a greater social element interacting with these factions.
Does anyone feel the same? Which factions are not realistic to practice as on the app? Thanks in advance!
For me I was not interested looking at explanations of Ra, but when it actually got down to it i realised the mechanic was pretty smart when i felt the tension amongst players.
I'm also interested to hear about the reverse. Example: i watched videos of Corps of Discovery and was pretty excited to try it but did not like it when i got down to it. I learned abit about myself that day
