Like the title says, when I visit several of my settlements, like Starlight for example, the game just crashes. I’m really enjoying everything about SimSettlements 2 besides this, so if there’s a way to prevent this beyond simply not using settlement plans, I’m all ears. I really was hoping not to have to worry about doing any settlement building. Seems ideal for playing on the Steamdeck, but it’s too problematic at the moment. Thanks

I’m running a fairly heavily modded FO4 on my Steamdeck. To my great surprise, everything is running great. Except, that is, Lexington, which is a complete slideshow. Totally unplayable. Since I know I’ll need to go there and take care of some things at some point, I’m hoping for some guidance on mods or tweaks I can make to the game to improve the performance. It doesn’t have to be perfect. 30 fps is completely acceptable. I just can’t live with 1-5fps. I don’t think anyone could. Thanks in advance.

So it looks like I have at least 3 more artifacts/minerals than I have space for in my museum. Not why sure what caused this. I tried to add the Museum Expansion mod, but it just broke the museum in my save. What can I do? I started this save so I could reach perfection and if it’s borked because of this, I’m gonna be a little peeved. Hopefully someone here has dealt with this before and knows a workaround or whatnot. I’ve come across a few guides for modding FO4 on Steamdeck, so I know it’s possible. But with these guides, I’m hitting a wall I cannot get past. I have F4SE installed, and Proton, but nothing beyond that. Can anyone point me a guide that works in 2026? Thanks
