got this shelf to make some more space, organized everything and it’s nearly full off the bat 😅

Been buying more CDs since vinyl is so expensive these days, but I’m realizing I’m just spending the same amount on CDs by just getting lots more than I would get in records. Lol. Time to (attempt to) slow down for a while.

Two tickets to Albany 6/8

Letting go of a pair of tickets for tomorrow’s show. Willing to part for less than paid and can split the tickets if needed. Dm if interested

Collection as of today. Questions/comments/concerns?

I’ve collected vinyl pretty steadily for about a decade with occasional CD and cassette finds. But as the price of vinyl and living rises I’ve been building out a proper CD collection this year. Been really fun to get off of streaming at least while home and commit to physical media.

Any favorites? Least favorites? Recs? Etc etc

Thanks for looking!

My local record store seemed to move a lot of their used jazz CDs to the dollar bin this week

Disclaimer: top row of miles stuff was $3 each, but everything else was a buck each.

Always been a big music fan in general but have slowly started getting more into jazz in a more real way recently. I’ve always liked Stan Getz’s stuff from the 60s, Chet Baker, and some of the better known Miles stuff (Kind of Blue, Sketches of Spain, and I really love In A Silent Way and Bitches Brew). But lately I’ve been combing through his discog pretty hard, and have also started getting more into Monk and Charlie Parker.

How’s the haul for 17 bucks?
