Is playing the game with mouse and keyboard doable

For context, I don’t have access to a controller right now, but I’ve been wanting to play this game for a while. I’ve already beaten Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 3, and Elden Ring using mouse and keyboard, so I’m used to playing games that aren’t really designed for this setup.

Which units should I go for

I haven’t played since the SJW Vanguard meta, back when Dante was on the Battle Pass. I just came back, played one event, and already got the two new Vanguards. Are they easier to obtain now? Also, which units should I focus on going for at this point?
