Slightly Sour Experience at London Card Show

Anyone else been overcharged at London Card Show this weekend?

My purchase should’ve been £2 and at the point of purchase, I’m pretty damn sure the card machine showed £2. My phone signal was pretty terrible when I was there so it’s now just come up as £4 on my banking app 😩
I know £2 isn’t a large amount but either way it’s wrong of vendors to be doing this and it adds up a lot if they’re doing this to every buyer!

I used to love going to card shows but a similar thing happened to me at the last one I went too and now that it’s happened again it’s left me with a slightly sour experience

iPad won't turn on, won't go into recovery mode!!

I have an iPad Pro 11" 3rd Generation. It is in immaculate condition, has been looked after extremely well; it has never been dropped, never exposed to any water or moisture nor any extreme heat.

I last used it either last Thursday or Friday. It was working perfectly fine, no issues at all and had at least 75% charge left in it. I went to use it Saturday evening but all I got was the black screen.

I have tried charging it (multiple different cables and plugs) but the charging icon does not appear at all. I have tried entering it into recovery mode but it would not go into recovery mode and nor would it go into DFU mode.

Apple don't have any appointments until next week so I really do not know what else to try.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I use this to do my online college course and lessons so I now have no way of accessing this 😫

No hash browns with breakfast meals

Has anybody else noticed that you can no longer get a hash brown with the breakfast meals without paying extra? Previously you could pay an additional 99p to get an EXTRA hash brown with your meal meaning you’d have 2.

For breakfast sides, it now only gives you the option of a cucumber bag or an apple bag. You can still pay the 99p to add one to the meal.

I checked with the workers on the counter to see if they can substitute the cucumber / apple bag for a hash brown and they said they’re not allowed due to some new healthy eating policy!

I understand it for health reasons but we should still be given the option of picking a hash brown OR a healthier option. Frankly their fruit or veg bags don’t taste good at all so I would never choose to pick one myself
