because fiction does affect reality but it simply more nuanced than that, but maybe it’s more tha fiction doesn’t reflect our morality or rather doesnt need to. A person who is conservative can write a extremely liberal story as can a liberal tell a very conservative story and both sides have the abilities to read both types of works and read something completely different that reflects their own world vie. Fiction can be a way to grapple with different ideas abd explore them in a safe and comfortable way without dealing with the reality that comes with it.

There definitely a more interesting line to speak about fiction and reality in different terms

so I’m currently writing this scene between my OC and Nami from One Piece and they are talking about the death of one of the members of the Straw Hats. I’m looking for some good ideas for some words of comfort from my OC. The OC doesn’t know these characters personally and has only heard about the straw hats in stories that Nami has told him. He wants to give her some comfort so if y’all can give me some good ideas he could tell her.

You know what you guys are always talking about age gaps in Proship circles and lolis and shizz forgetting that Ao3 is cool with any fiction no matter how offensive. I am into raceplay kink and so when servers ask to prove you are a proshipper I always use my ao3 but twice I am questioned on my racial fetishization fics and I’m just like…why? It’s just fictional content. Personally I’m not interested in being in a sever that gets mad at me for writing any type of fictional content if they call themselves Proship. Another server? sure but a Proship one…very upsetting for me.

Note: first server wasn’t kicked from just questioned on my racial identity which I feel like shouldn’t have mattered

i was looking at alternatives already but found nothing is as simple as Chub. I had thought the bot token issue was just a problem with a new bit I made but I just learned today coming here that Chub killed users like me and removed the 5 dollar tier.

Honestky was willing to pay 5 bucks for Chub with how much I used it

but also its crypto so even if I did make dome extra cash one month I can’t use it

making this in response to a Proship post. I always get slightly annoyed reading those posts because the comments end up being mostly just people explaining the difference.
