long term low-dose T?

hey fam, i know dosing specificities should be discussed with my doctor (and i do) but I wanted to see if there were any anecdotal stories about long-term-low-dose T - specifically, a "half-dose" - ie, 2 pumps of T gel daily.

About 18 moths ago I started on 1 pump/day Testogel, and at the start of this year I upped it to 2 pumps/day, because I felt like being on 1 pump a day was messing with my mood and libido in a weird way. I feel really happy at 2 pumps. I'm nonbinary so I'm not striving for full masculinisation asap (or ever, really - I'm happy just toddling along and my body doing whatever it's doing). I started T because I was testosterone deficient and I was primarily after the effects of improved mood, libido and it actually being possible for my body to respond to muscle-building stimulus - the rest of the masculinising effects were neutral and acceptable, but not the point for me.

I'm wondering if anyone else has maintained a similar dose long-term and stayed healthy? I lift weights which I ?hope? will maintain bone density, and i'm not sure if there are other things I need to worry about with being at less than a full 'male' dose. I'm also on a progesterone only pill to help regulate cycle. Thanks for your stories in advance!

Is this real/what size granny squares do you think these are?

Hi everyone, I was researching an idea I had which was to make a vest with buttons out of smaller-than-usual sunflower granny squares. I'm a beginner, I've only made a toddler's cardi out of daisy granny squares a few years ago.

I saw this listing on etsy and the shape is exactly what I had envisaged and I like the size of the squares, and that it looks like it has nice structure to it.​ I have two questions though; is it possible to get such a nice smoothed border section around the edge of the squares like that, especially around the neckline, or is it AI?

**And second, could anyone please have a guess about how big those squares would be and what weight yarn & hook I would use to achieve that size & density?**​

What to do in the first week of acute disc injury?

Hey guys, I live with chronic, managed, l mostly very low-level pain from an L5-S1 bulge that I did 4 years ago. Sciatica, numbness, sometimes achey but manageable with activity (regular gym as long as it involves core) , rest (lying face down on the bed with feet off the edge) and giving my spine opportunities to extend by han​ging. However in the last few days I have either re-bulged or herniated the same disc and I haven't been in pain like this since the first time. I'm getting very sharp pangs somewhat unpredictably with a constant background ache and sciatic pain all the way down my leg. I've been living my life trying to manage it as I usually do with exercise and rest and extension but it's only getting worse. I've forgotten how to manage an acute injury - what can I do to settle this back down to a manageable level of pain rather than this sharp unpredictable bullpoo? ​​​​ thanks!
