Full month of movement.

38m/665lbs/6-2
I’ve been pretty much sedentary for the last 6 years since my accident. A good day for me is 2000 steps. Today marks a full month of getting up and heading to the pool to walk. I’m now averaging 4-5k steps a day. My body hurts, but I can tell a huge difference in my confidence and my ability to get up, and out. Simple things like dinner with some friends is possible now. Don’t give up, find that motivation. I’m here to be your cheerleader. You got this!!

Should I trade my expedition in on a 20-24 f150?

I have a 2021 loaded expedition stealth, 71k on the dash. It’s a nice vehicle but I’m not into it any more. Bought it new, it’s been paid for. I keep looking at f150’s. Would love to find a 18-20 but can’t find any thing under 70k that I feel is worth the 40k price tags I’m seeing . I’m looking for a loaded lariat, or platinum 5.0 with max tow. Found a new one locally, $74k. Basically I’d be trading a perfectly fine paid for expy for 30k in payments. So what do you say? Swallow my pride and stick with the eco boost expy or nut up and get what I want.

Quorum not met for 3rd year. [SFH] [GA]

For three years now our association has not been able to have open votes due to lack of Quorum. The board is in no hurry to promote the annual meetings. The president has actively been engaging in confusing tactics to keep people from attending. Sending out multiple letters with the wrong day of the week, but right date, sending a corrected letter with a zoom link, but containing the meeting id for a team’s meeting. A few neighbors had signs made that had the actual date and QR code to let the community know about the meeting, she pulled those up. She is actively removing and banning any one from the community social media that asks questions about the board, voting etc. Our bylaws are pretty clear. Three board members, to serve staggered 2 year terms, open elections every year so one seat is always turning. The board has the right to appoint someone to an open seat if that seat is vacated in the middle of a term but that appointed seat must be filled by next election with an open vote. Well she’s successfully ran off 3 members that were appointed by her, and we are now on management company #3 in 4 years. The last management company sent a letter of separation to all home owners stating “a difference in ethics and “irreconcilable differences” between the board members and management. They refunded us our remaining balance on the contract. A group of homeowners had been hounding the last management company and now current management company for simple things like, meeting minutes, financials, insurance docs, vendor invoices etc. We are a small community of 94 homes, no public amenities (thanks Covid) besides a giant field where the club house, pool and tennis was supposed to be, yet we pay dues as if we have those items, and there’s supposedly line items in the budget. On paper we should have plenty of money but can’t even afford to fix a sink hole in the detention pond. Our hoa president is a SAHM, her husband does not work a high paying job yet they both drive $100,000 gmc Denali Yukon and sierra trucks. Besides filing a lawsuit or just refusing to pay dues till this is all figured out, we are all at a loss of what to do. The community wants a change. After last weeks meeting I have been contracted by so many homeowners asking if the meeting happened bc they either couldn’t joint the teams call bc no one would admit them, or they thought it was on a different day. New management company is absolutely worthless and not worth the effort.

Intimacy with partners…

For those of you with partners, do you find you can still be intimate, or has that gone out the window with our condition? I’m 675. It’s something we have learned to live without.

JBL 1300MK2 Bose killer

So after months of fighting with our Bose sound bar ultra I finally broke down and got new setup, wow is all I can say. This thing blows the Bose away on everything.

Started a weigh loss journey

Last week I started what is probably the most terrifying thing I’ve done, loose weight. At 675 im the biggest I’ve ever been, and honestly I’m over it. For the last week I’ve been doing a minimum of 1 hour water walking. I’m already up to a mile within the hour. It hurts, it sucks, but I’m miserable right now so might as well be miserable while trying to make a change. Anyways don’t have many people to talk to about this so here I am.

Cadence Bank arena seating

Looking at getting tickets to a upcoming show, would be sitting at the top of the 200’s section. Never been to this arena, but photos show that it could be tight/ sketchy up there in a power wheel chair. I don’t have use of my legs so can’t transfer. Any insight would be appreciated.
