I finally completed Disgaea hour of darkness. Omg if you’re into story time let me tell you.

I never heard of this series before. But on the jrpg subreddit someone mentioned Disgaea about the prism ranger section being funny and I remember seeing that clip.

Much time later I’m at a bookstore looking around and I see the art book for sale. The art in the game got me good I really liked the character designs. I got the book and later when I went to check out a local game store they had Disgaea! What a coincidence man I was really happy to start playing.

Once I played the game it was cool it was alright, it reminded me a lot about Odin sphere in its presentation. The story and characters were okay. I think I had bigger expectations because of the art book. It’s hard to pick a best character for me personally because I actually liked the main cast, which is who I remained with. Well actually Thursday was my least favorite and mid-boss was my favorite if I had to pick. Flonne was very precious.

I didn’t really like the grinding that had to be done because it’s just repetitive. Sometimes the same map had the same enemies but stats would drastically change each time. I had to grind a lot for the Don Joaquin stage and the last fight. Star mage really helped me, I can’t think how far I would have got with out her.

The ending I got was Harly sacrificing himself for Flonne. I assume he turned into a prinnie because of the hints given at the end. Honestly that was a really wack ending given all the grinding I had to do for that last battle.

Conclusion: I liked the game! I give it a good 6/10. The game has a good charm and the art style does a lot for it. I’m aware of the of post game but man I need a break from that. Hearing Tsunami Bomb during Maderas fight was so good! I’m moving back home actually, so this was the last game I’ll be able to complete after being away 10 years. I’m developing nostalgic feelings for this game. I kind of cherish this game man, it’s hard to explain. Well I got Disgaea 2 ready but I don’t want to be burnt out, so I got wild arms up next on my list. Disgaea, this game rocks!

Watching the SA-X destroy all the Metroids and seeing a portion of the space station become destroyed, and then learning there are multiple SA-X clones?? Being a kid and seeing all this creeped me out.

I noticed my shedding early March of this year. What raised a major concern for me was that clumps of hair would just be popping out of my hair making it look ready to fall. I had chin length curly hair and the ends at random times would just poke from out the hair and I would pull it out, getting up to 10 strands of clumped hair together. Whenever I put a shirt on, lots of hairs would stick to the shirt. This raised concern and finally figured out I most likely have TE.

When I shampoo I get over 100+ hairs and this began to give me extreme shower anxiety. I haven’t used shampoo in about 2 weeks and instead have been using conditioner when I shower. I feel like i could lose all my hair if I continually manipulate my hair in the shower. I’m super gentle because I feel like any movement on my scalp will cause more shedding. I attached a photo from when I last used shampoo to show the shed I had.

I decided I couldn’t handle the stress so I cut my hair by a lot, leaving scalp hair about 3 inches and sides very very short since it was here where most of the dry shedding was happening. In the shower, hair loss came from every where. Still experiencing shed at this moment with shorter hair.

Blood results came normal and doctor just said to use oral minoxidil. Took that for about a week and half and the side effects were too bad so I stopped. I noticed now I have thinning on my crown area which caused even more stress and anxiety. At this point I’m considering buzzing all my hair until I can see shedding is stopping. This is such a painful thing to experience. I had beautiful curls just like everyone else and now it’s almost all gone.

I just wanted to share my experience. It helps a little to know other people are experiencing it. But man this came out of nowhere.
