some spreads from a japan trip

so i've junk journaled a few times on and off (long ago) but i recently made these spreads and i have to say, i think im going to be obsessed with this. such a fun creative way to think about layouts, and it's especially helpful to me as a graphic designer! it also made me stop and reflect on the moments of my trip, and i can have a physical way to remember it 🥹

Anyone watching the Perseid meteor shower?

I tried to get to a dark spot with less light but I couldn't stay for long. Then I stood in my driveway hoping my eyes would adjust (in Grant) but there was still too much light coming from neighbor's houses. Where are you watching from tonight?

Which coworking spaces have awesome social media?

Looking for some examples of coworking spaces that have really good social media to reference while building a strategy for my own office. Doesn't matter where from, but which spaces are actually thriving as far as their social media content? Or which spaces do you enjoy seeing content from?

AA Flight 176 from HND -> DFW cancelled

My flight from Haneda Airpot that was scheduled for today at 4PM got moved to 1AM, then cancelled ultimately. I'm currently in line at Haneda airport to talk to AA. We called the customer service line (while waiting in the physical line) and the lady told us she wasn't seeing flights until August 2nd. She told us to cancel with American and go look for other flights on our own. Not super helpful, so at this point I'm waiting in line to see what they can do at the counter. I need to be back in the US before Aug 3rd to start work.

What are my options if American can't put me on another flight back home before then? I've seen people recommend JAL, are they partner companies with AA? What should I tell them?

Edit: I ultimately need to get to MCO, but any this point I need to get back into the U.S.

UPDATE: I talked to a person at the counter and they rebooked us for a flight on the 31st.

Free Coworking Fridays (every Friday in July!)

Hi everyone! You might have seen my post from a couple weeks ago. Just wanted to pop in again and let you know that Protowork Studio is hosting Free Coworking Fridays every Friday for the entire month of July! :D

After this month, it’ll be the first Friday of every month for free coworking days.

So if you’ve been wanting to stop by and try our space, please come on by. And if you could share this with your friends, or any WFH coworkers in the area, that would mean a lot to us. We’ve been (trying very hard) to get the word out through social media, and let people know we're here ^_^

Hope to meet some of you!

Free Coworking Day @ Protowork•Studio (6/12)

Hi everyone! Wanted to share this free event today and personally invite all the remote workers, entrepreneurs, creatives, students, or anyone who is interested in trying out coworking to check out our new space today.

If you've never tried coworking before, here's how it works: Just bring your laptop (or whatever you need), choose a desk, and start getting your work done among others in a productive environment. Our coworking space is a great way to get out of the house and experience a change of scenery if you're tired of the same WFH "every day is the same" cycle.

We'll be here from 8:30 AM - 6 PM and would love it if you stopped in for a bit! We've worked super hard over the past few months to transform the old space (some of you might remember when it was the old Country Barn Café) into a place where you can build community 😊

I'm curious to know if people would be interested in a once a month free coworking day, maybe the first Friday of every month? Would love to get your feedback!

Thank you for reading; I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend :)
