I tried to get a free trial for amazon prime but they charged me £1 which I didn't know they would do. I'm young so my parents check my transaction history and when they see I have amazon prime they're going to really dig deep into what I need it for/what I've been watching (off campus) which I don't want them to know. It's now showing up as a pending transaction what do I do to hide it?
I'm not spanish or latin so I don't know what counts as reggaeton or not but I know that Quevedo has made some reggaeton(-style?) songs in the past.
I'm a HUGE fan of Quevedo's music and loved both Buenas Noches, Donde Quiero Estar and his older stuff like Nana or Nonstop. He also made remixes or his appearances in other's music much better like Mi Nena by Maikel Delacalle much better. However, El Baifo is really bad I'm sorry Quevedo 😭
I love the concept of the album with him connecting with his roots and trying to portray the emotions that come with being from Gran Canaria- it's important that we all celebrate our cultural heritage. Then why is he showing his singing range just to nerf it with autotune??? I understand he is using it obviously, and maybe in an ironic way to make it more dancey, but he did this in too many of the songs like Caprichoso, Scandic, Hookah y Calor, just to name a few. The autotune and some of the notes that he is singing sometimes really clash with the background instrumental and doesn't fit properly at all. Bro does anyone else think this or am I going crazy 😭 ?
I think he is the type of musician who should let one element shine- either the instrumental or the voice, but not both at the same time on top of each other. El Estribillo from Buenas Noches is an example where he interchanged his voice and the instruments and it was PERFECT and to this day I have never heard a better song. LB Music Session #5 was EXCELLENT purely because it let his voice shine with the beat as a backing. I know it's a touchy subject but I think he needs Linton back to make his music better again.
