Privacy Hedge Advice

Privacy Hedge Advice

Our neighbours decided to cut down the privacy Hedge that sat along their fence (we're not sure why). Their house is on elevated land. As a result we're now very overlooked in the rear garden and on the ground floor of the house (floor to ceiling windows).

The green line shows where the hedge previously reached (believe it was laurel). I believe to achieve near full privacy it's going to need to reach approx. 9 feet (at least).

Unfortunately whatever we do it's going to take a number of years to get to that point.

Any advice on an evergreen hedge plant that's a quick climber?

From reading similar posts it seems a lot of people advise against laurel or leylandii (which appear to be the fastest growing).

Loose steering near centre

Hi,

What settings dictate how loose the steering feels near the centre. I'm playing FH6 at the moment, and slow full lock turns are very heavy but small adjustments are very light near the centre. I'm looking for it to be a little more balanced across the board.

Motherboard for my build

Hi,

I'm upgrading a few bits for my existing build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/8RQMbp

One area I'm struggling with is the motherboard. So many options and not entirely clear what would be best value for money for my build.

It's an area I'm willing to save a little on.

I was looking at a MSI B850M GAMING PLUS WIFI6E, but not sure whether that's a good fit.

Any advice would be appreciated.

More system RAM in use than available

Hi, how does this work? I've got a single game open and one other application and my system memory usage is displaying as considerably more than I have available (sometimes goes over 20k usage).

In game there appears to be no impact. Max settings, good FPS, buttery smooth gameplay. Do I just ignore? Is there any detrimental impact?

It's the only time I've encountered this and would rather not upgrade at the moment given price of RAM if I don't have to.

Menu Sound Volume

Is there an option to turn down the volume of things like the race finish sound, xp sounds, open map sound etc. whilst keeping car volume high?

These are currently uncomfortably louder than all other areas of the game (using headphones).

Wheel Bindings

New to the game today. I'm trying to setup a Moza ES wheel. Managed to get most of the controls binded, with the exception of two:

- Hold to play.

----- this displays as "Hold 1 to play" for me. If I hold 1 on my wheel nothing happens. It's not clear which binding this is either (this is the start a race command).

- Open Main Menu

----- doesn't appear to be re-bindable and the default bind isn't working for me.

Any ideas?
