soundcloud.comIs PvP a fair point to bring up when someone explicitly says they "like HC leveling more than endgame because it's more varied"
There was this nerd argument that transpired about HC where someone started by saying something like
>"I don't get HC, you miss out on 5mans and not getting full geared out at 60. HC players never do either of these and miss out on all the end game. I don't understand it at all."
and a HC player said
>“Just do the same part of the game over and over again” is a much better description of the endgame experience. You do the same raids/boss/dailies etc. Leveling has far more variety"
Then someone brought up that PvP is a part of endgame saying it offers more variance from randomness of players
The HC player tried to retort by saying that
>PvP doesn't actually offer content variance, saying that it would be like saying a chess board has more variety than an RPG like skyrim because there are 1million possible game outcomes.
The PvP player argued that's exactly why it's more variant.
>You'll eventually see all the leveling content, it suffers the same issue that the HC player brought up with endgame PvE, you see the same zones/quests/dungeons etc eventually. You'll never see every possible outcome of a BG and no two games will be exactly alike.
The HC player then pivots to saying he only ever meant PvE when he said endgame and that most WoW players would understand this.
The PvP player says that most WoW players would think that when you say endgame explicitly (and not endgame PvE explicitly) that it would include all endgame activities, so it's fair to bring up PvP
Then it basically goes back and forth forever where the HC player acts as if everyone should have understood his intent, and the PvP player says if that was your intent why did you try to first denounce PvP as repetitive instead of just saying "oh sorry I meant to compare leveling to endgame pve and I misspoke by saying "endgame" only"
The HC player argues that it should be obvious they meant pve by endgame progression, but the PvP player argues that the best PvP gear comes from BWL/AQ40/NAXX so pve and pvp are intertwined in progression.
Can you help settle this nerd debate? Who do you think is more correct?
