My first day of college is coming up and I’m honestly kinda freaking out 😭

I studied Maths biology in 12th, so I’m scared that everyone who came from Computer Science will already know way more than me. Like, what if the professor starts talking about something and everyone’s nodding along while I’m sitting there like 🧍‍♀️💀

And I’m also from a rural area, while the college I’m joining is in a pretty urban area. I’m not really confident about my dressing style or how I look, and honestly, I’m not that confident in general either. So the thought of walking into a completely new environment where everyone seems more put-together is making me nervous.

I know I’m probably overthinking it, but I can’t help feeling nervous about being behind everyone else.

Did anyone else feel like this before starting college? Please tell me I’m not the only one 😭

Hey everyone! I got allotted CIT Chennai (Chennai Institute of Technology) for CSE through counselling this year.

Just wanted to know if anyone else here got CIT Chennai too, either through counselling or otherwise. Would be nice to find some people from the same college/batch before joining!

I’m joining CIT Chennai for CSE through government counselling this year, and I thought I’d ask the seniors here for some advice before I walk into college completely clueless

How is CSE at CIT? What should I know before joining, and is there anything you wish someone had told you before your first year?

Any honest advice is welcomed, whether it’s serious, useful, or just “bro, whatever you do, don’t do this”
