I know this sounds idiotic, but bear with me – why don’t car floor mats have a little “you’re screwed” indicator next to the clips? Like a little red tab blinking “HEY, MOVE ME BEFORE YOU STEP ON THE BRAKE” Everyone is talking about the best floor mats these days, deep channels, rubber vs carpet, laser fit, fancy edges, whatever. No one ever talks about the mats that slowly slide under your feet like they have a vendetta. I swear I nearly flew into the dash one time in the rain when my heel caught the edge. Maybe I installed it wrong lol but seriously, isn’t this the sort of simple safety feature that can save people from themselves? I feel like all the car pros are about to tell me I’m the idiot here…
