Things I found abnormal
They have A LOT of stuff
They use generic "professional" photos, eg nothing like inside a household
They have weird pricing like $54
They have high ratings with almost 5 stars
I am using Fedora 44 and I installed Veracrypt 1.26.24 but sometimes veracrypt reverts back to the 1.26.7 version from Oct 2023.
Why does this happen and should I be concerned with using an older version?

My reasons:
Gnome allows me the concept of 'If I do not need to use it at the moment then I don't need to see it,' for example my dock is hidden away, if I need it I will just move my mouse towards it
Awesome extensions like workspace indicator, vitals, clipboard manager, etc. which is easily available on my top bar
Gnome is more workspace-centric, which I have a preference for to departmentalize my activities
I am currently using Ubuntu 24's file system, Nautilus, and there is a very annoying bug where I can't see thumbnail previews. I know Ubuntu updates slower than Fedora, would it just be a better idea to just switch to Fedora for better stability?
