I was thinking about how hard it is in abroad and how better it would be if I returned home. But seeing how India is suffering to inflation, job crisis, etc with way less economic growth than US, UK, etc is making me rethink, if I can make a living there. Damn this economy sucks and AI has disrupted job market. How do you cope with this?

Thinking to make some from options call as well.. But not sure of the earnings call reaction

I went on 12 weeks fmla and returned back. I was placed on focus right after. With my current mental health I am still unable to work for a high intensity work like clearing focus goals. I want to apply for STD and take another 12 weeks.

1. Can they eliminate my role? (Manager already hired one while I was on Fmla and are performing all the work I do)
2. If they eliminate or about to eliminate, will they notify me so I can be back and go for pip option?
3. Will I get pip options if my role is eliminated? Or any severance? Or nothing?
4. Since I am on visa, i would like to get a 60days transition pivot option to extend my job search. Will i get it?

I did not have much friends while I was doing masters. Had one or two but they live somewhere else. Moved out for job to another state and got married with my love. While I enjoy my time alone at my space, it feels very lonely at times. To have fun or just to chill or go for trips. I have no other companion other than wife. I don’t have friends at work as well because of age differences. I am in late 20s and everyone else in their 40s. Please recommend me some tips. I feel very stressed about this sometimes and want to leave everything and go back to india…. But can’t because this is the only reason I want to leave.

I am just starting my 30s and realized that I am forgetting things. Like any learning, task, route, memories to cherish, etc. What do you do to increase your memory power?
