does anyone have this noise gate pedal and is it worth it or should i wait until i can afford a higher grade one?

context: i am 15 and have a relatively low guitar set up, in need of some sort of noise gate.

should i go for it or just hold on a bit longer??

(school of rock) does anyone know if i can join the performance program, without graduating beforehand from the rock 101 program?

i recently did one of the summer camps at school of rock, and it was so so amazing, and at the end, everyone was suggested to try out ‘the performance program’ which i took a look at.

my main question, is would i be able to get anywhere without having graduated from the rock 101 course, and if yes, what kind of ability/knowledge would i be expected to have?

just a question, as i need to know if i’m ready straight up or if my skills need some working on.

is a fender champion 20 watt amp worth investing a little into?

so my current setup is a 3 watt mini black star amp, which is a great little thing, but doesn’t seem to be able to handle loud playing very well, the sound quality is a bit off too loud, and it has often issues with the feedback and stuff.

i’m starting to think about getting an upgrade, at least for guitar performing, as i’m sure you can see why i couldn’t do this with a 3 watt amp 😅😅😅

i recently went to a music school, (a band camp basically) and the amps they used for guitar were fender amps (not sure the exact model) but the sound quality was just awesome!

so i was looking at some fender champion 20 watt amps, these any good? if no, could you maybe recommend me some amps?

i’m homeschooled, 15 and need help with asking my restrictive mum for more freedom

for context i am 15 years old, and my mum plans my entire week. i want to decide more of my life, seeing as i will be 16 soon.

problem here: i am homeschooled, (my mum hasn’t really done anything schooling, and i recently had to take it into my own hands to manage my own study schedule so that i can even have a chance of college)

i am also expected to spend relatively all day with her or my grandma, with my only free time being in my room at the end of the day.

you see this schedule would have been fine- if i was 12.

i am not allowed to even walk to the shop down the road alone, unless someone is accompanying me. i can’t go on walks alone, the only time i get away from her is when i meet with my friends, which is not that often.

i feel like i am at an age where i struggle with the fact i have to be around my mum and grandma all the time, and i love them both very much, but am feeling very restricted and trapped, and can’t wait to get away in september 2027 when i go to college.
