Are Deerfield, St. Paul's, Hotchkiss Good for Warm Community?

I'm looking for an elite prep school that has a warm and cohesive community. Exeter and Andover are too big, and from what I have heard they are high-pressure with lack of student support. From what I have heard, Deerfield, St. Paul's, and Hotchkiss have good communities. Am I correct? What are some other schools you would recommend?

Andover vs. Less Challenging Boarding School? Help Me Decide.

I'm working with my brother to apply to Andover. But I'm also not sure if Andover is too much of an academic grind, so he will apply to less rigorous schools like Loomis Chaffee, Hill School, Episcopal, and Taft. Do you guys think Andover is worth the stress you have endured? If he wants a balanced and happy high school experience, should he apply to easier schools?

Why is UVA So Historically Mediocre at Football Despite Their Advantages?

UVA is historically a very mediocre program with a win-loss percentage right about .500 and only one 11-win season in their history (last year).

Why are they so mediocre at football historically despite having so many advantages: extreme wealth, beautiful campus, great academics, very fertile recruiting grounds, etc.?

Is Lamine Yamal Soccer Version of Wemby/LeBron?

I don't watch soccer but have started to pay attention tot he world cup. Apparently this Lamine Yamal kid is only 19 and is considered the best player in the world. Is he basically soccer's equal to Wemby or LeBron in that he's an unprecedented great young talent that's expected to dominate his sport for the next 15+ years ad potentially be in the GOAT conversation?

If anyone here watches soccer, could you tell me if I'm right?

What is Deerfield Workload Like?

For a student interested in Deerfield Academy, what is the workload like in 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade of a high achieving student? Is it overwhelming? Is it a balanced school? How many hours of homework per night?

Experiences With Episcopal, Taft, Other "Balanced" Boarding Schools?

I have a kid who is a legacy at a HADES school but doesn't want the pressure. His cousin is at Andover, and brother attends Exeter. He does not want a high-pressure experience and wants balance and fun in high school.

Considering that, we are thinking of applying to Episcopal. It seems like a very balanced and healthy environment. I've also heard that Taft attracts a lot of more balanced and social students. I've also heard similar things about Loomis Chaffee.

Does anyone have experience with these schools? Also, which schools would you recommend for my kid? We are also open to schools outside of New England.

How Many Asians at Andover?

I'm looking at Andover's diversity stats and some websites say it's 20% Asian. Some say it's 40% Asian. Does anyone know how Asian Andover really is?

Andover vs Deerfield, Choate, St. Paul's

I am considering all these schools and wonder how you think Andover compares to them? I've heard Andover is more down-to-earth but also academically harder than the other schools?

I get the feeling that the other schools are more tight-knit because of their smaller size. Is this true?

An Auburn-Argentina Split Jersey Spotted Ahead of World Cup

Quite an odd combination. At least Argentina and Auburn fanbases have the racism in common though.
