Sensitive skin

For those with sensitive skin/ adhesive allergies, what worked for your incisions? I'm trying to get questions together for my preop in a week, and a big one i have is the incision tapes, especially since the time wearing them can vary (i do plan to ask my surgeon)

Surgery July 31st

I got my surgery date!! July 31st! I am over the moon excited!!

What did y'all do to prep for surgery? My partner is going to handle my incision care so I'm just focusing on getting my body ready. Mentally all in - no nerves at all.

Figuring it out

So I've been on the r/Reduction subreddit and have now wandered over here to get more info for what I think i want. (This may be long)

So about me: I'm afab37 enby, a 36g/f and approved for my breast reduction through Kaiser. I have a complicated medical history that includes MCAS & POTS that totally rule my life. And had my hysterectomy (everything but one ovary) 3 years ago.

Questions: I'm having trouble finding other people who had a Reduction not full on top surgery. I'm hoping to go down to a B, and know my doctor favors the anchor incision. I do have erogenous sensation, but more so on the side of my boobs. I think I've decided on no nips since i hate how they look and making the areola smaller isn't going to change that, and the lack of nip would ensure i get the size i want and limit complication with recovery for my mcas. Plus, I've always envisioned some mermaid bra-esq tattoo. Downside: i do have some erogenous sensation, but it's not make or break for me personally, and my partner supports that even if their a little bummed. Can any of you wonderful peeps speak to your experience with this?

Waiting...

I got my referral and approval and consult so fast (literally 3 days time) within a week they had my availability - completely open... and now the wait is killer. I'm trying not to be too annoying but definitely trying to get in on a cancelation. Calling 1x a week... anyone else?

Ps absolutely love this community. The information and support is absolutely amazing

Favorite recovery bra?

Hey all! Ive been living reading all of your posts and comments, but haven't seen anything recent that answers: what's your favorite compression bra for recovery? I have open availability so can get thrown into the schedule quick and want to be prepared. So looking forward to getting rid of 34DDDD by a minimum of 400g!

Thank you!!
