No one told me about downsizing. Is it too late? How do I know what to go to?

I got a helix piercing in May. Today I decided it’s probably been long enough that I can swap out my earring for something I like better. When I took the back off, I realized I have a large hard bump under where the butterfly back was.

I looked it up on this sub and realized that it’s probably a piercing bump from how often I bump it on stuff and the long earring post.

I think I need to downsize but I can’t figure out how to figure out the length and diameter since I don’t know what I started with. It’s just a diamond stud. It’s not the piercers fault, she told me but I was anxious and didn’t retain the information.

I feel incredibly over caffeinated but I’m not. Maybe my meds are working?

I 24F have been on anti depressants since age 16. I have tried a bunch and nothing has worked. I believe my hormonal birth control is worsening my depression. A couple weeks ago I went off my birth control but stayed at 40mg fluoxetine. I finally feel a difference.

Today is the first day I feel different but I’m not sure I like it. I feel like I drank five monsters. I’m jittery and I can’t focus. I have energy like I havent had in years. I feel like I need to go walk or run or just something other than sitting.

I was super productive at work but kept forgetting what I was doing and getting distracted. I feel good and bad at the same time.

Maybe I’m adjusting to coming off birth control? Maybe the new dose of the meds has finally kicked in? Idk but I definitely feel something happening.

Is this what not depressed people feel like? Just like so much energy?

Specifically, what type of wood do schools buy for board breaking?

I trained for years at a couple different schools and broke a lot of boards but stopped a year ago when I moved. I’ve been asked to do a small demonstration and I’d like to break a board but I don’t have access to a school to get them from anymore.

Can I go into a home improvement store and get the type of wood I need? I looked and the options were confusing. I think I used to break pine l, but I saw yellow pine, white wood, all sorts of different types. Also I’m unsure on the typical thickness for (small) adults as well. TIA

I’ve been on a series of anti depressants for years. I’ve been thinking they don’t work because they don’t make me feel happy. I just feel less low and more numbed out. Has anyone found they actually feel happy on antidepressants or is it universally just feeling less terrible?
