Headless Bass Low B Action

I had a Zeus 5 string made a few years back, but it arrived around the birth of my child so I'm only now getting back to my hobbies.

I noticed that the action of the low B string can't really get much lower than 2.0mm, and it seems primarily because of how it rests on the saddle. The other strings are thin enough to rest in the channel of the saddle, but the low B has to ride above it.

I'm not really a bass player by trade so my knowledge is pretty limited. Is this a problem best suited for bass strings tapered at the saddle? Seems like the only solution other than getting a different saddle, but it doesn't look like Hipshot sells different configurations of them.

The OG guitar Youtube legend leftlanetheory is back!

Real ones know - this guy was absolutely shredding up Youtube in the early days. I owe a lot of my discovery of bands and techniques to this guy alone. Looks like he's dropping a new album on Friday!
