I was born and raised on the West Coast but got stationed in Tennessee. While I was there I was able to try biscuits and chocolate gravy for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. Now that I live back on the West Coast obviously I can’t find this anywhere and I finally want to try to make it myself. However when I find recipes they seem differ quite a bit, some include milk, others call for no milk, different sugar amounts, etc.

When I had it, it just wasn’t overly sweet, but some recipes I see people using more than a cup of sugar and that seems like it’ll come out tasting like pudding.

Any suggestions?

I LOVE the Energel pens and I have never had a single nice pen as I’ve always just bought the packs. Amy recs for something that’ll fit a 1.0 Energel refill? I’m not looking for something expensive as it’ll be my first pen. Just looking for an EDC type pen that I can keep for school and work.

Any idea if the Energel Alloy pens fit the 1.0 refills?

I would call myself sort of a watermelon connoisseur. However, I have purchased watermelons at sprouts, Sam’s, Costco and fries this year and just have not been able to find one that was really sweet. I was super excited to try black diamond watermelons cause I have heard how great they are but I was pretty letdown when it was not very great. I tried a moon and stars and while it was a little bit better it again wasn’t all that great. So far the best, which is pretty usual, are the very large seeded watermelons but even the ones I’ve bought this year haven’t been as sweet as in years past.

Anyone have any recommendations? There was a truck selling watermelons not too far from my house recently but unfortunately he has not been back. Next time I see him I really wanna try one.

Two days ago I posted about how I shattered my phone screen just hours after I took off a screen protector. Well, I got the screen repaired yesterday after noon and everything was great. Fast forward to this morning, while doing some work in the kitchen I got a notification and went to pick my phone up off the counter next to me and completely fumbled it into the sink with 2 inches of water it in. I felt like I got it out lightning fast, but now all of my cameras are fogged up, Hey Siri isn’t working, talk to text isn’t working, the Maps app is INSANELY laggy and I’m only getting a fraction of notifications I receive.

Luckily, my Verizon protection included $0 deductible for my first replacement.

I guess getting your screen replaced really does hamper the water resistance of the phone.

No joke I took off my screen protector about five hours ago because it was holding fingerprints really bad, so I took it off and ordered some new ones. While out and about I dropped my phone in the target parking lot and the screen shattered while in an OtterBox case.

It just goes to show your phone isn’t completely safe in any type of case. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Luckily Verizon has $0 screen replacement.

For the last few months, I have almost exclusively used my school chrome account when I'm using my laptop. However, today I accessed my personal account, and this immediately pops up and pops up every time I open it or open a new tab. I checked and I don't have anything set to open a page when opening a new tab, or open on start up. But this continues to happen.

Can you tell me how to fix this? I have never heard of this website ever, but when i search for it, it doesnt even exist.

I’m currently renting a 2025 Nissan rogue, I have driven other vehicles with the auto hold feature in the past. But for some reason when it’s toggled in the rogue I have, after a couple minutes without moving it will feel like it adjusts the rear suspension, then when I press the gas to move forward, I can feel the rear of the vehicle dip. It’s the wildest feeling ever and I have never felt it in other cars with the same feature. I had a Kicks with auto hold and it never felt like that.

Is this usual on the Rogue?

I’m just getting into sharpening to try and keep my kitchen knives sharp. I bought the Work Sharp Precision Adjust sharpener and the first knife I tried to sharpen was a cheap Sam’s Club chefs knife. I started sharpening and 20° with the 320 grit stone and could not get a burr to save my life, climbed up to 25° and had the same issue. It was until I got to 30° that I could finally feel a burr after just a couple of strokes. I went ahead and kept it there as I went thru all the different grits and the knife came out able to shave, but it just doesn’t seem as sharp as it could be and I’m almost positive it’s because of the 30° edge. Do I need to get some more coarse plates and keep going at it until I feel the burr? What else can I do??

Is this possible?? I never updated to the new iOS until I got the 17 Pro and I HATE the new screenshot “format”. We used to be able to take multiple screenshots before you sent them and could just delete them all at once. But now you have to take a screenshot and send or save each one individually. I have not found another way to do it.

Any suggestions??

The title says it all. I have a couple of rose plants that have done very good, but unfortunately they are just completely void of any fragrance. That seems to be common for store-bought rose plants. I’ve been looking online for some and wanted to see if anyone in Phoenix has had good luck with the specifically fragrant plant?
