Hello friends,

So I started 100mg of Gabapentin about two weeks ago, primarily for neuropathic pain. All has been well up until yesterday.

All of a sudden, I felt like I was in danger. Couldn’t sit still, stomach started to act up. After a little while, it faded, and I realized I haven’t felt anything like that in years. I really hoped it was a random fluke.

But then it happened again, just 20 minutes ago. My chest feels heavy, my stomach is a mess, and I feel like my body is in a panic but not telling me why.

Gabapentin and Mobic are the only two new meds I’ve been taking. Up until now, I was totally cool with the Gabapentin. But if it’s going to make me feel like my nervous system is freaking out before I can even register it, I don’t know if I can keep taking it.

Any insight, personal experience, etc is appreciated. I grew up with anxiety and OCD, but I’ve never really experienced sudden random panic to this degree before. The only time I’ve ever felt close to this is during my cyclic vomiting flares, so it’s like the panic is triggering me into more panic

I was on a hunt to add more Emerald Cory’s to my tank, and was able to find them at a Petco. Unfortunately, what was being sold as Emerald Cory’s are actually Bronze Cory’s, which I didn’t realize at first. I went back, told the staff, and an employee with 15 years of fish experience told me that “most Petco’s don’t sell Bronze Cory’s because they are rare and higher priced.” I was under the impression that Bronze Cory’s are actually more common, and frequently mistaken as emeralds. He then came back to tell me that they are the same, that they have the same scientific name and may just be a genetic mutation that is sold interchangeably under the same name.

He has ONE “Emerald,” and he showed me a video. His Cory is fully grown, and looks nothing like the Emeralds I have, at all. His Cory has much darker sides with a hint of green. My Cory’s are literally like a chrome green with a teeny hint of pink.

Am I crazy?? Is this just nonsense, or did I actually get Emerald Cory’s? I really wanted to stick to Emeralds and Albinos, but now I think I have a third school lol.

Just drove past it, it was kinda weird. There’s a white SUV stopped in the right lane of eastbound Hempstead tpke with its hazards on, no one in the car or nearby the car. It’s right in front of the parking lot the Dunkin is in.

Did anyone else see this/know what’s up?

Edit: it didn’t look like an accident, the car looked perfectly fine
