Kids always sick

Since joining in January we have been sick every other month. They claim to be struck with their policies on runny noses and coughs… clearly not. My daughter is not in school or daycares. No one else in our circle is getting sick but us. This is the common denominator. I’ve only done 70 days this year bc of how often we have colds and trying to be polite and not being a contagious kid. I’m at my wits end and we did the 18 month package. Fml 🤦🏼

Mold and legal Qs

I’m posting on behalf of my friend who isn’t on reddit but I’m curious if anyone has any insights on actions she could take against liberty housing. About 6 weeks ago she had them inspect for mold and moisture because both her and her son getting sick and had a persistent cough. They said everything was fine, fast forward to this past week and was house sitting for them and I kept smelling mold. I started looking for it and found mold in her son’s nursery 😭 Liberty came and assessed and admitted fault due to the sprinklers hitting the windows causing mold and moisture. The walls are FILLED with mold. Her son has gotten so sick to the point they ended up at radys children’s about a month ago and needed inhalers due to upper respiratory infection/illness since then. Liberty shouldn’t be able to get off the hook for this. They are refusing to test to see if the mold is toxic or reimburse them for a the damaged items. She is in an empty rental in a different neighborhood right now has they have a company doing mold remediation on the home.

Reverse Diet Question

My Reta arrives in 2 weeks. I am F 23 and 5’3 at 155lbs. I lost 50lb naturally but for the past year I have not lost any weight while working out 4-6x a week on 1200 calories. Would it be beneficial to reverse diet the next 2 weeks before I start so I can ensure I will be getting proper nutrition when going into a deficit? What would be the recommended increases of calories and for how long? I am okay in delaying the start of my Reta to insure the best results and getting proper nutrition macros met.

SCRA leaving lease while service member deployed

My husband is estimated halfway thru the deployment but I am having mental health issues and need to go back home to get help caring for my kid. Can I use the SCRA act to end lease after the member has already deployed. We are in California and we signed a year long lease in March of this year. There is no SCRA agreement or early termination agreement on our lease.

Normal Labs Concerning Symptoms

Hello, at 10 months postpartum my hair loss went from just my scalp to loosing my eyebrows and then came the inability to lose any weight, chronic constipation, extreme fatigue, depression (in a weight on chest catatonic way, not life threatening way) and often waking up swollen and puffy. At 12 months postpartum I went to see my doctor. She brushed it off and said it’s all normal PP symptoms, but these started at 10 months. The scalp hair loss started at 6 months postpartum and I’m sure that was related pp related. I was and am sleeping 9-10 hours straight.
I asked her to do Tsh, t3, t4, tpo, Thyroid Antibodies Panel Blood Test, and ANA test.
She refused because my thyroid wasn’t enlarged and all my symptoms fit PP. She places a lab order for TSH only which came back normal. It was 0.791 01/26/2026. She refused to follow up after that.
I am now having more symptoms including a scalloped tongue, cold intolerance, hot flashes, increased swelling/puffiness, and worse brain fog.

How to clean this Greasy and Dusty mess

I live in a double wide trailer home and this is the door that leads to the laundry room that houses the HVAC unit. The unit is constantly cycling air, even when we’re not using AC or heating there’s either an on or an auto setting so sometimes it it’s a inevitable that it will turn on while we are cooking causing grease to be sucked in through the door. I tried spraying it down with dawn, dish soap, and water solution, but it is so hard to get into the cracks and I’m wondering what kind of brush or tools and products would be safe for the paint.
