Help with removing the shutter button on Minolta X570/500

I'm trying to clean the electronic contacts for the shutter speed selector knob and it's under the grey ring in the shutter button assembly.

I found a repair manula from minolta and it looks like there is a retaining clip (red arrow) that holds the button in place. Problem is, there's a black plastic sleeve (cyan) that blocks this from view.

Help woth removing the shutter button on the Minolta X-570/500

I'm trying to remove the shutter button to access the contacts of the shutter speed selector on my 570/500 but I don't really know how to.

I've seen videos of the 700's button removed but they have different retaining systems.

I'm also using a repair manual from Minolta for reference and it says there's a retaining clip that holds it in place. I'm just not sure how to remove it or even if it's required to remove it.

The red arrow points to the clip and the green arrow is the black plastic that hides it from view.

Help with removing front lens elements on Seikosha MXL shutter from a Ricoh 35 DeLuxe

I'm not exactly sure how to remove the pieces that expose the front lens elements. I got the rear elements out from the back of the camera, and this exposed a ring that can be removed via spanner (see image), but I think this would release the whole shutter assembly.

Do I have to get the whole shutter out or does the barrel for the front elements just need a good twist?

I've seen videos on other seikosha assemblies but not for my particular one.

What could have caused this?

I took this through the shutter from the back of the camera.

Does this have something to do with the coating on the glass? Oils or water seeping in between the elements?
