Flowers!
This is the first time any lithops I’ve ever had have bloomed, and I’m so excited!

52yo, both kids have it, sister has it, mom likely had it, and it never occurred to me until talking with my kids a few years ago that I could have it bc I was good in school, could sit still, etc etc.
Perimenopause has caused the wheels to come off the bus and I finally made the appointment. After the assessment, the doc looked at me and was like, “Yeah, so you definitely have adhd.” I’m starting on Strattera first to see if it helps. Fun times.
Just finished this one today. I’m wanting more and more to move away from photorealism and experiment with other art styles.

“The Old Man On The Hill”
A first attempt at a more impressionist style. I’m not sure how I feel about it, other than I like how the tree came out.
Kinda worried about this little guy. I bought him a month-ish ago and haven’t watered him since he’s splitting. The old leaves aren’t crispy yet, but the new leaves have wrinkled considerably since I’ve had him. I’m so tempted to give him a little water but I know that’s bad while splitting is occurring. What could be going on here? Is my plant dying? What do I do?
I sprayed my drawing with fixative and set it what I thought was a safe place to dry. When I went to check on it, I noticed a piece of fuzz stuck to the drawing. But when I went to carefully pick it off, my hand slipped and this happened. I’m so upset; I worked so hard on this and it’s one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever done. Is there any salvaging it?
The carpet all around it makes it even better lol
Found these cuties at Lowe’s today, and yes, they will be repotted in grittier mix asap!
I pinched these two leaves off my jade plant (third pic) today bc they don’t look right but I’m not sure whether it’s sunburn or something else.
I moved them to a new shelf my husband built for me about a little less than a week ago, but before that it had been under a pretty strong Sansi grow light. Just in case I moved it to a different shelf where the light is a bit further away. None of my other plants seem to be having this issue.
I watered it a day or so before moving it bc the soil was dry and some of the leaves were getting wrinkly. Soil is 50/50 Bonsai Jack’s Gritty Mix/succulent soil.
Shout out to my awesome husband! He built me this custom shelving unit to house my ever-expanding collection, and I couldn’t be happier.
Y’all I’m so excited. I’ve never had plants that flowered before, and now I have two going off at the same time. The euphorbia obesa is just getting started, but my crassula deceptrix is well on her way. 😁
I sowed these on May 19th, and I’m super excited to watch them grow!

Just finished this today. My husband & I saw this old beauty while driving around, and I couldn’t wait to paint it. This truck has seen some things! I wonder what stories it could tell if it could only talk…

Is my crassula deceptrix about to flower? I’ve never ever had a plant flower before.

We saw so many of these adorable little guys during our trip to Breckenridge a few years ago. I love going back through my camera roll and finding little gems I’d forgotten about.
