"Blast him!"

Blokees keeps on delivering with their Star Wars kits. Commander Cody here is no exception. He looks absolutely amazing and is definitely one of their best releases for the Star Wars line.

Assembly process was really smooth and simple. The finished model looks great! I love how much printing they gave him, especially the weathering and scratches seen throughout the helmets and the body. Speaking of, they give you both the Phase I and Phase ll helmets which is nice, but I much prefer the latter look, plus the body is definitely more accurate to his Phase ll look. Both blasters are also included, along with a lot of swap-out hands, similar to the Clone Trooper release.

What's new here is the additional unmasked head, which definitely looks nice and resembles the actor quite well. Love the scar print, but I do think it's ever so slightly too pale in color. You also get a new hand with a port, which allows you to plug in the hologram of the Emperor, to recreate the iconic "Execute Order 66" scene. Lastly, you get the usual display base with a rotating disk. There is an alternate foot piece which has a peg that you can swap-out in order to attach him to the base.

This is a really great model! It's very well-detailed, poses great, and has a ton of fun accessories to really bring him to life. If you're a fan of the movies or the series, then this is definitely a must-have!

BLOKEES ACTION EDITION 07 OPTIMUS PRIME (Ver. Evo)

This is Part 1. This guy deserves 2 albums.

Man, what an insane release by Blokees. I genuinely didn't think that it could get any better, but I was so wrong. This by far, is their best AE kit yet. The assembly process was great! I took my time to really see the inner workings of the model. The finished product looks amazing!

As it is labelled "Evo", it's more of an amalgamation of his different versions. There's some hints of MP-10, with some aspects of IDW, Siege, and even TFOne. The level of detail and color separation is insane on this. Now, what made me fall in love with this kit: the articulation and all of the features. Posing this guy is such a blast! I was not expecting all of the range that they've given him. The spine detail on his back during the ab crunch, the insane elbow bend, and the deepest knee bend I've ever experienced. Genuinely have no complaints whatsoever.

The features is where it gets crazy. I'll be listing them down based on the pictures, as they all deserve their own spotlight. Just know that it's absolutely nuts, and is what made me consider doing two albums.

• The blaster can house a 3.4 mm blast effect on its barrel, and it even has a full on pumping action.

• This guy comes with interchangeable fingers, the same exact system as their TFP Optimus, but this time, it includes a pair of pointer hands.

• The ion blaster can also be stored on top of his shoulders, thanks to the cleverly hidden arm system inside his jetpack, a nice nod to the Gen Style MP.

• The magazine is also fully removable, and they gave you three in this set. The axe can also be stored on his back fully, with the same arm system mentioned.

• The axe itself has sections on the handle which plug into the hand, and the blades can compress or extend when you pull on them.

• Both blades and the handle can be removed, giving you a shield which has a 5 mm port that can plug into the forearm after you remove a panel. With included adaptor pieces, you can add the blades on there, lift up the whole forearm panel, and plug the blade attachment on there.

• They give you two adaptor pieces, meaning you can put each blade on either side of the forearm! Removing the back panels on his jetpack frees up the arms, allowing you to do whatever you want, like giving him shoulder cannons.

• You can open the sides of his legs to "store" the magazines inside them. You can also give him a full blown turret arm cannon, which is sick!

• With the swap-out fingers, you can give him hand-held blades too, which just adds more play options to this guy.

• A view of the insane back detail, jetpack, and the knee bend that this guy has. What's so cool is that they engineered a system that makes the wheels rotate when you bend the knee. I was in awe while assembling it.

• The leg panel covering the wheels can open, and so can the back panels of the jetpack to house the other two magazines. The light actually reaches the back plate. The aforementioned gas tanks in his legs can actually store the removable forearm panel for storage if you're using that spot.

• Beautiful Matrix chamber. As usual, the kit lights up with an included magnet. They also actually included an alternate head piece, which allows for light-piping, and is genuinely such a neat inclusion.

• They also gave you swap-out parts to give some battle-damaged effects! Easy to swap out, aside from the internal ab piece.

• Spike's included! He's a DV-styled model which is fun. The main dome can be removed to pose his head.

Overall, this kit is genuinely perfect. I have little to no complaints whatsoever. The amount of features, posing options, and just the overall experience you get with this kit is insane. It easily beat their first version, and even the latest TFP Optimus. It's a must-have!

"Avengers... Assemble."

I'm a bit late to this, but I still wanted to pay respects to some of Blokees older model kits. Captain America was one of their first Champion Class kits that was a person, and I think this still is a really fun model! Yes, it's pretty stylized, but it definitely feels like Cap to me.

I love all the textured detail throughout his suit, and the different belt buckles and other parts are done in this nice deep brown color. The face, while being covered, is stoic and serious, embodying Cap's personality. He comes with alternate hands, his shield (a bit on the smaller side unfortunately), adaptor pieces to attach it on either this arm or back, and Mjolnir, which is a really great inclusion!

For an older model, his articulation still holds up to this day. I find myself picking him up from my display and just posing him around. He's got pretty good range on his joints, so he can pull off some great poses.

An updated Captain America would definitely be great, but as it stands, despite this being more stylized compared to their newer kits, I still think it's a very fun experience and one that you should try, given the price and the quality.

BLOKEES STAR WARS GALAXY VERSION 03: TROOPER COLLECTION

These Star Wars sets had me hooked! I initially just got the Champion Class kits, but I had to try out these Galaxy Version sets and man was I missing out! This 3rd wave in particular, I'm sure a lot will enjoy, especially if you want to have a Trooper Army!

The assembly process for these are definitely much more involved than usual, yet they're still fun and interesting! The proportions on these are still stylized, but definitely so much closer to actual human proportions which I appreciate.

A very awesome set if you're into your Trooper Army, and if you want a pre-Beskar Mando!

DIN DJARIN: I love the pre-Beskar Armor look! He comes with both his Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster and 1B-94 Blaster. I really like the weathering and damage, as well as the articulated cape.

IG-11: This is our second time getting an IG-11, this time more accurate to his episode 1 look with the straps and the red sensors, as well as both of his blasters. You can virtually pose and move him just like he did in the series.

ARTILLERY STORMTROOPER: So glad I got the Chase! Love all the orange markings and the pauldron he comes with, along with the explosive loaded backpacks. Given the name, he comes with the Model 201 mortar, complete with a blast effect!

STORMTROOPER: Can't go wrong with a generic Stormie. This one comes with the first part of the E-Web Blaster. Looks good as always!

STORMTROOPER COMMANDER: Same with the Stormtrooper, just with the pauldron. He also comes with the second part of the E-Web Blaster.

STORMTROOPER (WEATHERED): Love the dirtier and almost yellowed look that the armor has, making it so much more unique. It's got the last part of the E-Web Blaster.

DEATH TROOPER COMMANDER: This looks extremely intimidating! Pretty much all three of these have the same look, just with varying armor and blasters. This one has a pauldron.

DEATH TROOPER: This one comes with the E-11D Blaster, same with the Commander, just this time without the pauldron.

DEATH TROOPER: Carrying the SE-14r Blaster, this one's definitely the more generic one of the bunch, but still awesome even without the extra armor.

BLOKEES LUCKY DRAW BITSTREAM

I won a giveaway hosted by Demarcation Media, mainly the Bitstream bundle! It arrived extremely secure and safe, and the kit looks amazing! I missed the old style of kits, it felt somewhat nostalgic to assemble these! I especially love the translucent blue effects and base, as those will definitely help with some water shots!

Just arrived tonight! A bit late to CC-Lite and the 2 GV sets, but very fresh for the GV-03!

BLOKEES DEFENDER VERSION 08: BATTLE STARS

The tiny Transformers collection keeps piling up! With their 8th wave of DV kits, Blokees keeps on making really neat representations of some cool and niche character designs! We have some more Japanese inspired characters, a mix of G1, IDW, and Cyberverse for this wave!

It's a pretty good set overall. A lot of new things, and the introduction of the Fembots is pretty fun. There are a couple of things which need a bit of tweaking, but the positives do outweigh the negatives for me. I love the fun aspect of these things, being able to combine or even swap-out parts to make for some interesting creations. My favorite is definitely Star Optimus (Convoy) and his trailer! I'm curious to know which is your favorite!

STAR OPTIMUS: I managed to get the Standard Galaxy Type, and it looks good! The metallic colors pop and the print is clean. You can combine both blasters into one singular one, and the shoulder turrets can rotate.

SUPER MEGATRON: Got the regular one but it's still neat! Love the details on him and his overall silhouette. Due to the design however, the right arm is limited because the parts clash.

SKY GARRY: I know nothing about him but he seems like a happy dude. The shoulders are pretty unique and the colors pop on him!

TARN: We finally have a mini Tarn in our collection! He looks fantastic! Love the new torso they gave him, bulking him out a lot! The shoulders are slightly hindered, but in terms of pure aura, this guy is elite.

DRIFT: We get 3 Drifts back to back and I'm absolutely loving it! The detail is great and I love that the katana can be stored on his back. He can pull off some pretty neat poses too!

WINDBLADE: Finally, we get a Windblade in Blokees form, and she looks neat! Love the head sculpt and the overall look, and the sword really enhances how cool she is! Both her and Arcee are taken straight from the Cyberverse cartoon!

ARCEE: She's cute! The colors are clean and the print is nice! The huge gun is a really funny contrast to the cute character design though, but it works quite well!

SG GOLDBUG: All waves usually include a Shattered Glass character, and he's pretty neat. The helmet is really cool and the colors are fun. I would love to get more Decepticons though.

GLITTERING SMOKESCREEN: We get yet another translucent bot in the form of Smokescreen, and he's quite cool! The new doors and the shoulder cannons really set him apart from Prowl!

SWOOP: The 4th Dinobot to be released, and we're one step closer to completing the set! He looks the part for sure! I do wish his head could move a bit more and he's pretty much stuck in flight, but other than that, still fun!

SUPER MEGATRON VEHICLE: It looks good! The cannon on top is menacing and the wings can move slightly. The treads are on ball joints so you can move them around.

STAR OPTIMUS TRAILER: I know it may not seem like much, but there really is so much to unpack here, and is by far one of the most interesting pieces in this set!

For the trailer's features, it can open up completely to reveal the interior, and it can also be compatible with the DV-01 Optimus Vehicle. Just remove the smokestacks and the turret to attach the trailer.

You can also remove the parts and turn it into legs for some of your kits! It works best with GV models from GV-08 onwards, as they're not really compatible with the older sets. A pretty interesting feature and I wonder if they have other stuff planned for this!

My favorite feature however, is the Star Optimus base mode! A great reference to the original toy and subsequently, the recent Titan Class release! The ports in the trailer allows you to put more blasters for extra play! I absolutely love this feature and I definitely need to track down another Star Optimus and display it this way!

Super Megatron also has some mix and match combos which you can do which is neat. Weird that the pegs are different spacings though for some. The Super Megatron Vehicle also comes with a commemorative coin, and I got the Windblade version.

"You're like a little bumblebee."

A small yet mighty kit by Blokees once again! It's a good thing they released this side-by-side with Optimus, making up for such a banger pair of model kits.

The proportions, just like Optimus, are absolutely spot-on! They've nailed pretty much everything in my opinion and even while comparing it to the CGI model. It was a super easy assembly process and pretty satisfying as well! I love the shade of yellow that they chose here, in contrast with the silver and gun-metal grey. He comes with 2 pairs of hands, 2 identical blades, his blaster, an alternate head with the mask, the usual display base, and a very cool accessory in the form of a boombox, a neat reference to his early concept renders.

Posing him is a breeze, as the joints really allow for some dynamic poses! I love the ankles with the moving parts as well. You can get him into virtually any pose you want and need him to do. As usual, the eyes light up by tapping on the kit, giving life to him. Considering he's a smaller kit, I definitely would have loved to have seen his concept art doorwings as well as an alternate head with the red eyes to recreate the rage scene.

No complaints here. He's pretty much a perfect kit in my eyes and looks fantastic next to any collection. It's a small model, and definitely one that's very easy to manage and bring around with you.

BLOKEES WHEELS C-04: Heart of the Ark

They're not slowing down with these Wheels releases as we're 4 sets in, and this one's a banger! A lot of both iconic and extremely niche characters are included in this set, and they all look absolutely fantastic! The assembly process is as easy as ever and you get 12 great looking vehicle modes, all within the 1:64 scale.

ASTROTRAIN: This is the one I've been most excited for and I am so happy with it! I absolutely love how big he feels and the sculpt looks amazing! They made the train wheels work which is such an awesome touch! You can open the back and reveal the train interior that's full of detail. Just perfection.

SOUNDWAVE: I managed to get the Radiant Edition, which is a reference to the Animated Electrostatic Soundwave, which is basically just Soundblaster. This guy's cool! Love the color scheme on display here, along with the included Ratbat KeyTar which can plug on top. All Chase kits include a Blokees Wheels Driver, and they upgraded it this time with a ball-jointed ab section.

JAZZ: Sleek, stylish, and perfect. I don't have much to say other than you need this guy if you love Jazz. It's so clean and just captures his vibe perfectly.

WHEELJACK: Same thing with this guy! He's just pure G1 perfection. The opening roof allows access for the Driver to fit, and it's got a fully detailed interior as well.

TRACKS: Absolutely stunning! The metallic blue with the flame decals is gorgeous, really fitting his narcissistic personality. He of course has the ability to convert to flight mode, and I absolutely love the detail of Blaster being sculpted inside.

BUMBLEBEE: We got some Classics here, and he looks great! Very compact yet still packs a fun presence!

CLIFFJUMPER: Of course gotta make the most out of the mould with this one. Loving the pattern here, such a great homage to the original toys.

IRONHIDE: Another great G1 Autobot added to the cast. Love the deep red with the iconic yellow stripe motif. The back door opens revealing a pretty spacious interior.

RATCHET: Exactly the same as Ironhide, but white and with a light bar this time. Both are great, no complaints here!

IMPACTOR: We have some comic characters here, with the really loud colors of Impactor. Our mandatory tank-former per wave here is really good! He features a fully-functioning turret which is great!

FULL-TILT: A great inclusion! Love the purple color scheme to him and it's very accurate to the original toy and design. He comes with a T-Cog Trophy, which I read about in the Wiki and is such a deep cut accessory to include.

ROAD GRABBER: Full transparency, first time hearing about the character. He looks great though! I love how much the colors pop, and the cannons add a lot of flare as well!

I genuinely am having a hard time deciding if this wave beats the previous one as they're both so good! The quality just stepped up—great printing, a ton of details, and just a bunch of stuff they've done which just shows how much care and attention they put into crafting these things. They're by far one of my favorite sub-lines that Blokees has, and I hope they keep getting better and better!

"Cybertron has fallen."

BLOKEES keeps dropping bangers, with this fan favorite Optimus Prime design being no slouch! Been waiting for this to come out and man am I impressed! This model kit is pretty easy to assemble as usual, no tools required.

The proportions are PERFECT. Genuinely have no complaints whatsoever with how this guy's stature turned out. I love the color separated detailing all throughout, with some printing on the shoulders and forearms. This in particular is his Earth mode look. Just like any of their Transformers releases, you just give him a tap and the eyes light up, which is neat! You get pretty much a very acceptable accessory spread: three pairs of hands, his Ion Blaster, and a blast effect. A stand is also included as always with these.

Articulation is pretty solid! I would have loved a better ab crunch, but he can still pull off some fantastic and iconic Optimus Prime poses! He's also by far the tallest Champion Class kit they've released under the Transformers label, so he towers over the majority of the others.

I think this kit is borderline perfect! Just a few tweaks in the articulation department and he'd be flawless! Definitely a must-have if you love Optimus Prime and this design in particular!

BLOKEES GALAXY VERSION 11: "The Lost Light"

I keep repeating myself every time we get a new Galaxy set from Blokees: This is their BEST wave yet. It's a perfect blend of IDW and G1 characters, with some great choices for who is in this line-up!

As per usual, the quality for these kits is outstanding! The print work seems to be so much sharper, and I just love the colors for each of these! I managed to pull the Hidden Style Rodimus Prime which looks absolutely stunning! Couple that with the updated articulation, and you can get these guys in such dynamic poses!

IDW RODIMUS PRIME (Hidden Style): He looks fantastic! The blend of metallic purples and blues really make this guy stand out! I love the fact that they gave him a bow, most likely an homage to his Animated counterpart!

IDW ULTRA MAGNUS: Been a while since we last got the Magnus mould, and what an upgrade this is! Clean colors and printing all throughout, demanding a presence for sure.

IDW DRIFT: He might be my favorite. I loved Generations Drift as a kid and this one just ticks the boxes for me! Love the new crotch piece with the holsters to store his short blades, while the back has a place for his katana. Stunning overall, just missing some bits of red.

IDW BLUDGEON: Love this dude. Striking and iconic colors for him, with a great face sculpt and a cool sword! The turrets on his shoulders can rotate as well if you do wish, and the skirt armor gets out of the way for posing.

IDW BRAINSTORM: I don't know much about the character, but the design is really cool! Love the numerous wings he has, and the shoulder blasters can pose as well. He comes with the briefcase, which can open and has a blaster inside.

SCOURGE: Last dude we need to complete the Unicron trio. Man he's good. Comes with new hands and I need more kits to come with these. He looks perfect and I don't really have much else to say.

FORTRESS MAXIMUS: Yet another Titan enters the mix and he's good. I love the flip-out cannons on his legs similar to his G1 toy, as well as the Master Sword.

He also comes with a mini Cerebros which is neat.

HOUND: This guy is so good! Genuinely such a clean model—great colors and printing too! Wish he had a blaster but otherwise, he's great!

WINDCHARGER: An unexpected pull but a welcome one nonetheless. We're close to rounding of the S1 Autobots as well.

Can't wait for what's next! All 9 characters are bangers and it's definitely a wave you need to get!

"Move out!"

Following suit with Blokees' new releases is the Clone Trooper, specifically from Attack of the Clones! We have yet another army-builder kit here, and I'm sure y'all will enjoy it!

It's an extremely clean design, sporting the usual black and white color scheme with some subtle color on the helmet. This system is also their upgraded body design, so it's slightly taller than the previous Stormtroopers. It's got some really good accessories, such as alternate hands, all sporting the hand-guards so you don't have to swap them out everytime which is so much better. They really should maintain this moving forward. You also get two weapons, that being the DC-15A Blaster Rifle and the DC-15S Blaster Carbine, as well as the Phase II helmet, giving you more display options and army-building potential. Lastly, a stand-base is included as well, same as usual.

Articulation's as good as you'd expect for an armored body, but it's pretty dynamic all things considered. Looks good in your typical trooper poses, and I'm sure it'll look so much better if you have a couple. I only have one so I got creative and just edited them together.

This is great! I loved their Stormtrooper releases (posts soon), and this is just as good! I hope they do more Clones soon, or even a General Grievous. Make that and my life is complete.

"Move out!"

Following suit with Blokees' new releases is the Clone Trooper, specifically from Attack of the Clones! We have yet another army-builder kit here, and I'm sure y'all will enjoy it!

It's an extremely clean design, sporting the usual black and white color scheme with some subtle color on the helmet. This system is also their upgraded body design, so it's slightly taller than the previous Stormtroopers. It's got some really good accessories, such as alternate hands, all sporting the hand-guards so you don't have to swap them out everytime which is so much better. They really should maintain this moving forward. You also get two weapons, that being the DC-15A Blaster Rifle and the DC-15S Blaster Carbine, as well as the Phase II helmet, giving you more display options and army-building potential. Lastly, a stand-base is included as well, same as usual.

Articulation's as good as you'd expect for an armored body, but it's pretty dynamic all things considered. Looks good in your typical trooper poses, and I'm sure it'll look so much better if you have a couple. I only have one so I got creative and just edited them together.

This is great! I loved their Stormtrooper releases (posts soon), and this is just as good! I hope they do more Clones soon, or even a General Grievous. Make that and my life is complete.

"You underestimate my power!"

I've been keeping an eye on Blokees' Star Wars kits, and man, I'm glad I decided to try them out! Anakin here is a great model kit, based on his Revenge of the Sith look. It was a pretty easy assembly process, though the skirt pieces took a bit of finesse.

He looks great! Although stylized, they managed to capture Anakin's features quite well, down to the scar and the fierce look on his eyes. You get three faceplates, although two of them barely look different, and the angry face does have a wonky eye. You also get a lot of expressive hands (though the closed fists have really soft sculpts), as well as some swap-out Lightsaber options. You can either have it holstered in his belt, or have him hold it and swing it around, complete with an alternate effect piece which I love! Lastly, you get a display base, as well as a piece to switch out on his foot that allows him to attach to it. It can also rotate for more options.

Articulation is pretty good! The skirt is made of softer plastic which allows you to move his legs pretty freely. I'd love to have gotten more butterfly joints, but what we have is serviceable, so you can put him in some pretty dynamic poses!

I really like this kit! I do have some nitpicks here and there, as well as some things I would have loved to have seen such as a cloak or an alternate face with the Sith eyes, but the positives outweigh them! This really excites me for what they have next! I know it's a reach, but an actual model kit diorama of the Mustafar scene would be so good!
