Bravia 9 - Can “Black Adjust” and “Adv. Contrast Enhancer” be set for HDR only?

I have a Sony Bravia 9 and I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to have Black Adjust and Advanced Contrast Enhancer apply only when watching HDR content.

When I change those two settings while watching HDR, it seems like the changes also affect SDR mode. I’d prefer to keep them off for SDR, but maybe use them for HDR depending on the content.

Is there a way to make these settings separate for HDR and SDR on the Bravia 9, or do they always carry over within the same picture mode/input?

Any help from other Bravia 9 owners would be appreciated.

Anyone else have HDR detection issues on Samsung TVs?

My Samsung Frame and Frame Pro occasionally fail to detect HDR content and stay in SDR/Standard mode. Restarting the TV fixes it immediately.

Is this a common Samsung issue? Does it happen on other Samsung QLED and OLEDs too, or is it mostly a Frame TV problem? Any permanent fix?

Looking to buy the Asurion TV Protection Plan from Amazon but the TV from Samsung

I would like to purchase my TV directly from Samsung or Best Buy.

Can I purchase the "ASURION 4 Year Television Protection Plan" on Amazon for coverage?

If yes, would the plan apply to on an "open box" TV from Best Buy too?

Frame vs Frame Pro. Noticeable picture quality difference?

For those who’ve owned both the Samsung The Frame TV and Samsung The Frame Pro, is the picture quality difference actually obvious in everyday use?

Things like brightness, contrast, HDR, blacks, motion, and Art Mode. Does the Pro clearly look better, or is it a subtle upgrade?

OLED vs QLED Heat Output in a Bedroom?

Looking to get a TV for my bedroom and was wondering whether OLED or QLED TVs generally emit more heat into the room.

I vaguely remember RTINGS having average temperature measurements for OLED TVs, but I can’t find the link anymore, and I haven’t found similar numbers for QLEDs.

If anyone has actual measurements or can point me to any data/tests, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Can the BRAVIA 9 or 8 Set a Minimum Brightness With Ambient Light Sensor?

Coming from Samsung TVs, one feature I really like is being able to set a minimum brightness floor with ambient light/auto brightness enabled. It actually works pretty well in my house despite Samsung’s flaws.

Can the Sony BRAVIA 9 or BRAVIA 8 do this too? Or does Sony fully control the dimming range automatically with Ambient Optimization?

Would appreciate input from actual owners, especially anyone who switched from Samsung.

I bought a Samsung Frame TV from Costco and it came with 2 years of the Art Store subscription.

If I buy another Samsung Frame TV from a different retailer, will I still get the 2 years of Art Store if I sign into the same Samsung account on the new TV?

Is the subscription tied to the account or to the specific TV?
