I wanted to get this one as its figures are pretty dynamic, if rather old by now. Had some fun playing with chipping fluid and gouache paints again. Except for some speckling with enamels, all weathering is done with gouache this time as I wanted a quick, fun build before my next project.

Nice little fun kit. First time trying out gouache paints for weathering. Crewman was done with white/black highlights with airbrush and Citadel contrast paints.

I had a lot of issues with this one: all entirely my fault. Lost a front brush guard and had to get photoetch replacement, someone I’m new to and scuffed the front plate. Also wasn’t happy with my attempts at dust effects with enamel products and had to strip back. First attempts at oil painting the crew also resulted in stripping and repainting. Next project is going to be less ambitious, I think.
