I am a bearded overweight male that lives alone and does not interact much with neighbours. Would you prefer to live next to me or a couple?

I am leaving this slightly vague to settle an argument but the question is above, for added context, the supposed scenario is a terraced house, new build so closely packed together gardens. I apologise for the lack of context!

Just came upstairs to bed and realised I forgot I was half way through sorting out the storage cupboard a few hours ago.

I guess I'll just step over it in the night and hope I don't trip on the Christmas tree!

Just start s elden ring.

It's not as hard as I thought... Yet.

But I wanted to check, I've started as a scholar doing a mostly blind play through. There doesn't seem to be much magic gear dropping? I know I can Google where everything is but just as a generic advice, is magic gear more sporadic than other stuff?

Also is scholar easy mode?

Does your family do the coin in the cork?

Hi my family has a tradition of putting a coin in a cork to celebrate an occasion and for good luck.

Always wondered if this was a regional thing or if other families do it? If you do it, would you mind advising where roughly in the country you are from?

What is the deal with the annoying motorbike gang?

Every week at least there is a weird patrol of loud obnoxious motorbikes that ride around revving their engines and pulling wheelies.

I understand people want to have fun but it's just annoying and aggressive. Is there a reason for this or do they actually do anything of use except be annoying?

(Sorry if this just seems like an old man rant!)

Do you think house alarms are outdated / redundant?

My neighbours house alarm is going off.

I realised its been going off for about 5 minutes and I have not even looked out the window to check anything.

I realise this makes me sound like a selfish person (sorry) but I would ALWAYS assume a house alarm is just due to a power cut or some other power / repair issue with a house.

My question is I guess:

  1. Do you think house alarms are outdated / redundant?

  2. Do you react to your neighbours ones?

Do kids parties still do the hokey cokey and give out party bags?

What things from kids parties from when you were a child still happen?

I don't have kids but went to my nephews 4th birthday recently, it was a snore fest!

No pin the tail on the donkey, no buffet, no karaoke. Not one hokey cokey or macarena!! Also no little party bags at the end. It was like a mini night club with music and a dancefloor and a mc'delivery near the end.

Maybe I'm just old but I was expecting party games, cubes of cheese on a stick and pass the parcel!

Hi, I work in complaints for a local council and we get sooo many fly tip reports, I know there are businesses that do this but as a private individual I guess I want to know:

  1. have you ever fly tipped?

  2. do you do it regularly?

  3. what is the reason, is it just the convenience or not enough council services or anything else?

P.s I probably don't work for your council so please don't kick off with me! :) also I am only asking out of curiosity, this is not a council feedback thingy.
