Does anyone know why or what the threshold is for tax returns requiring a longer assessment period?
Usually my tax returns are assessed quickly and I receive my refund within about 2 weeks. With childcare deductions and RRSP contributions my refunds are 10-14k.
This year I submitted March 13, and my target assessment date is May 12 - a date that keeps getting pushed out. My return is 26k this year.
