Poco x8 Pro: Worth it?

Hello all,

I'm thinking of getting a new phone and found that the x8 pro 8/256 is going for 435 US$. They also have the 12/512 variant for 510$ but that is kind of exceeding my budget.

I believe the price is really good for what it offers.

What are your honest reviews regarding this phone and how's the hyperos experience? Is it as bad as some people say or it's fine?

If you think there's a better option or whatnot do recommend it.

What are your most played songs? Let’s find our Lebanese music twins!

I’ve been curious about what everyone here has been listening to lately so drop your most played songs! Maybe we’ll find some unexpected matches or discover some new songs along the way.

Bonus points if you include your Spotify/Anghami top songs or your current favorite song 😂

Her new album is superb! Fits super well with my current life events oml. Gracie fans wya!!

If you also know a hidden gem that's in gracie's genre let me know please. I feel like gracie is barely known in Lebanon which is typical.

My current favorite songs from this album in order are:

  1. Good Reason

  2. Hit the wall

  3. The knife

  4. Look at my life

Is Xiaomi 17T worth it?

hello all,

im planning on buying the xiaomi 17t and ive been seeing some reviews. lots of them are positive but i found a few that claim that it overheats so much etc...

does it actually overheat or is it just normal heat due to usage? and if you've got any downsides about it please let me know.

i mainly care about having a decent camera for the price and it seems mi 17t is enough for that. for the price of 615 US$ for the 256 variant it def is the best in my area.

Lebanese in KSA: How's life and was it worth it?

Hey all,

I've been thinking about this for a while and I'm coming to terms to finally do it.

I'm going to Saudi Arabia for work and potentially stay there for a good time or more like never leave as long as they let me.

How's the quality of life as a Lebanese there? Do you feel accepted and fit well within communities?

I'm moving to Jeddah specifically if that helps to narrow down experiences.

On social media you notice lots of people rating modern KSA as a gem. What do you think?

Another victim of this country's reality.

My best friend has officially given up on this country and is leaving next month for good.

He's my homie literally my brother. We've been together on good and bad days but unfortunately this time the bad days became too much that he's not capable of staying any longer chasing a better future and life.

I'm happy for him but I'm also grieving not seeing him anymore... Not being able to just call him and drag him into a pointless hangout for the lols... Not being able to simply sit on the same table any longer...

It's those moments where you know will never come back and you've got to accept it. Yeah sure we'll still check out from time to time but we'll be on different roads this time. In the hopes of maybe one day things become better here.

Eventually my time will come to completely leave too and never look back.

You meant a lot to me buddy. Mad at this country and this world more than ever.

Camon 50 Ultra

Heya!

I'm planning on purchasing the camon 50 Ultra.

To the people who bought it, how's it going so far? Were your expectations met? And is the camera as good as they claim?

I've never had a tecno before but the camon series seem to fit my needs overall. Oh and one more important question how's HiOS? is it good or is it still not mature yet?

AUCY Online MBA Degree

Hello all!

I'm a lebanese citizen and I'm looking for a university to complete my masters degree at. AUCY has an office here in Lebanon and an orientation team that always advertises their university.

I recently came across their online mba degree and i've received an email of details but I'm skeptical about how legit is their online mba?

  1. Does the Ministry of Education in Cyprus actually recognize their online mba degree even for foreigners that are not located in Cyprus?
  2. If there is any way to contact the ministry of education of Cyprus as a foreigner please let me know how.
  3. Anyone here studied at AUCY in their online program if yes can you please share your experience.

Thank you all in advance!

PS: If you've got any positive or negative comments about the university overall please do share so I know what I'm stepping myself into.
