Solo founder trying to figure out social media marketing for a new web app — advice?
Hey everyone — I’m a solo founder and recently built a new web app called Moxi.
It’s an interactive storytelling platform where users can read branching stories, make choices that shape the plot, and chat with characters inside the story world. I’m starting with romance, romantasy, thriller, and drama.
I have some basic social media marketing skills, but very little understanding of Meta marketing, A/B testing, paid campaign structure, creative testing, etc.
I’m trying to get smarter about social media marketing without spending a fortune. Since it’s just me right now, I’m trying to figure out the best way to test channels, create content, and find early users on a limited budget.
Are there any AI tools or services that are actually useful for SMM?
What would you recommend for a founder trying to learn SMM from scratch?
How do I find someone with real social media expertise without paying agency-level prices?
Any practical advice would be appreciated. I’m not looking for a silver bullet — just trying to avoid wasting money in the wrong places.
