The "input" button on my new OLED tv selects by default the IOT option not the actual inputs

Oh and it also enables the magic mouse pointer because the standard arrows would be too quick, you need to click an input twice to actually go there and it takes a few seconds just to load up. Sometimes it also doesn't load inputs at all

My TV from 20 years ago changed inputs 10 times faster.

Controller alternative in 2026

So I hate the original controller, actually I love it ergonomically but every single one I bought is now broken. Either squeaky dpad or the analog drift. I still have ps2 and xbox360 controller that still work fine but all my PS4 original controllers are broke. I got into the system with the ps4 pro so it's not some early adopter issue either.

So I don't want to buy another one ever again.

But I need a controller. I got the Nacon wired controller but it's too tiny and the touchpad is too close to the square button. Also the triggers suck.

I thought about getting one of those adapters to use any controller but then I can't play ps2 games since they don't emulate left and right touchpad just a generic touchpad click.

Is there any other good option?

For some reason my previous attempt was removed. This is NOT a tech support question...

PSA - check your old hard drives

just a reminder, i just dusted off my ps4 since its so hot these days and using my pc is making things worse.

has some random issues installing games, then it seemed to work fine. wanted to clone the drive to upgrade to 2tb ssd and turns out there are bad sectors ALL over, it was a ticking time bomb.

Any solution for out of tree drivers?

So I just moved and I have to use a wifi dongle for my gaming pc.

I have a tplink tx20u plus and a cheaper tplink dongle.

Both work fine in windows but the cheap one sees networks but fails to connect(wtf is with that btw) and the other one doesn't even see networks because it needs additional drivers.

But from what I understand even if I manage to install them they will be wiped in the next update.

So what's the intended path here?
