Is this bass a good fit for me?

I'm 5'0 and am considering purchasing an upright bass (i have prior experience in electric bass). I was wonderint what size this current bass is, and if this is a good fit or if I should go smaller. I didn't deel any sort of discomfort when playing, but I was wanted to make sure if this is the best option.

How did you all get into listening to Cannibal Corpse?

I got into them when I was 16, and I was looking for new music to listen to. The first time I heard them, they shocked me. And then I came back to listen, and I was hooked! Hammer Smashed and Condemnation Contagian are what did it for me.

What about you all?

Tampon Experience and Wanting To Try Again

For background, I am 17, a virgin, and never even been to a gynecologist. I have tokophobia and am EXTREMELY terrified of anything down there, even just going to the gynecologist. I will go to any extreme to NOT go to a gynecologist or become pregnant. I've even told people I'm okay with being a virgin my whole life because of this, especially since I don't want kids.

Now to the story.

About a year ago, I was going to go to my friend's house and go swimming. The night before, of course, I got my period.

I tried for about an hour to use a tampon. I was texting my boyfriend who at the time had been with me 11 months and was very supportive, knowing exactly what I was doing and he knew it was my first time. So he tried to be moral support in any way he could. I tried multiple positions, and it just wouldn't happen. I might have even gotten it in at one point, but i hit something and it hurt, so I panicked and took it out, but who knows, I might not have gotten it secured in the first place.

I was nervous doing it, I will admit. I tried to take deep breaths and relax my nerves, but I kept hitting the sides, which made it hurt, and I panicked, and took it out. I was unsuccessful.

The next morning, before I left, I decided to try again. I spent about half twenty minutes trying. I was sitting down, and when I got it in, I hit the side again... but then I felt really strange. I felt like I was very close to fainting and my vision started going dark, and if I remember correctly, my ears were ringing. I laid down on the floor, and everything started to go away and I felt better after a while. It was terrifying. It was the closest I had ever been to fainting.

My friend is having another pool party at her house later this month, and according to my app, I start again that day. How do I try again? I'm terrified of anything at all going in there, but I really want to try again because it's something I feel I should know how to do. I've only ever used pads, and I want to explore other menstrual products, but I'm unsure how.

Thank you to any advice. It is extremely helpful.

Ideas for teens to do for fun

Hello,

My friends and I are in a friend group aged 17-21, and the group has been together for 3 years.

We're all either graduated from high school (college in my case), or on summer break, and one of us (the oldest) is working two jobs.

It's important to note that all of us have some sort of disability or physical limitation. Two of us are unable to be in the heat for extended periods and experience high heart rates when doing long amounts of walking or exercise. 3 of us have our driver's permits but no one has a full license yet. I'll be getting my license within a few months if life goes as planned. Eventually, I want to be the one that picks everyone up.

Are there any fun activity ideas we could do? We've gone bowling, roller skating, karaoke parties, the mall... but we're looking for something new. Something that utilizes free will and is super fun.

How do you get comfortable with crop tops?

I think crop tops are the cutest things, and I want to wear them. However, I'm a fairly modest person. When I wear something that ahs less coverage than what I normally wear, it's not USUALLY that I feel self-conscious, it's that I feel the urge to cover, like I feel naked. However, with strapped outfits, I tend to get self-conscious about my arms. I don't wear crop tops because of a mix of being self-conscious and feeling naked, and I'm a small girl. I'm 5'0 and 105 lbs, so I have a slim figure. I don't ever get called fat by anyone, I usually get compliments like "your waist is snatched in that dress" and thinks like that. So I get positive remarks when I wear clothes that show the outline of my torso. I own 3 crop tops plus a cropped tracksuit. I want to get more comfortable... but I'm unsure how. The thought of wearing them around people I know is appalling to me. I'm also a teenager without a full driver's license (I am getting close but I only have a permit), so my parents drive me everywhere and usually stay with me where I go because I have a medical condition I'm learning to manage. Any advice at all? There are so many out there I wish I could wear.

New tablet and potential adware

Hello,

I got a tablet on April 1st this year, brand new. It's an Android t5-pd-t606.ROW-SW6_20250514 tablet. I took it out of the box, set it up, and everything.

Since I got it, maybe a few days after, I've been noticing ads popping up. I've run play protect, virus check through the android system, factory reset, and reset my search history. The play protect and android system scan both came back clear. I have noticed websites in my search history that align with the adware. However, I'm signed into that same google profile on my Windows 11 Laptop with 0 problems at all. MalwareBytes also comes back clean.

It's not in specific apps. Sometimes it's as soon as I open my tablet, I get those apps. I don't go to any weird sites or apps, I stick to what I need. I am using this tablet for professional reasons as a music artist to check my analytics, and things like that.

I really like this tablet, but I'm so sick of the adware. Can someone please help? I would love to know how to get rid of this. I am so grateful for any help.
