I want to thank my good friend Kiki for this adorable fan art picturing Subie, my ESSA (emotional support stuffed alligator) driving Victoria, a one-of-a-kind magical car that I have been obsessed with for 23 years. I miss you Victoria; you forever shaped my hopes and dreams in a bigger way than you can ever imagine. May you Rest In Peace, born in late 1989 or early 1990 and almost making it to 2006. I wish Subie could have known you. 🐊

For back context: Victoria was a red first-gen
Plymouth Voyager from Chrysler's original batch of magic wagons; now commonly called minivans. She was manufactured sometime in late 1989 and was with us until a few days before January 1, 2006, making her 16 years old. She was the best car I ever remember my family owning and I would have loved for us to keep her going forever. She had the engine of a fighter from a long-ago time when cars were more stolid than they are today. She was till going strong at 16 years old and at 226,000 miles in December 2005. Sadly, now she exists only in my imagination. I have always longed to make her real again, just as many people hope to do with rebuilding the Titanic.

If Subie could have known you, I'm sure that she would have loved to ride in you.

There is a rustic rocking chair, broom and quilt at the back of the gift shop in the State Park visitor center. I took a picture of Subie in it yesterday and forgot to share. Hope you all enjoy.

Took Subie's picture at the discovery center with the taxidermy specimens. Had a really fun day with her!

While we were comparison shopping for parts that I can't machine at home for my car project, we made a new friend in a sweet lady named Amy at O'Reilly's Auto Parts today. We posed with Subie to take a picture and remember this special day! I got a hood ornament and a radiator cap for my car.

We went to Pizza Pub and took this special picture with our friend Kelly who I have nicknamed "Grace" Kelly. The artwork on the back wall is amazing.

Hope you guys enjoy this; I used hand sewing and pieces of felt to make this embroidered acorn design on Subie's vest.

Subie and I went on a picnic at the lake today. Came across this beach with a lot on it and thought it was a perfect opportunity for a photoshoot!

Subie got her picture taken at the Chinese restaurant today. :)

There is a moose statue in Bridgewater Plaza where you can take your picture. Subie is poking her head out of my pouch to look around.

Took Subie to the State Park today. Here she is sitting on a park bench.

Subie and I went back to the pizza pub 🍻 for a slice of pizza and a Dr. Pepper.

Was doing a jam session on my keyboard today and suddenly realized what a good picture this makes. Hope you all enjoy.

Went to the Bower Center to see the Charles Schulz exhibit. I have find memories of reading Peanuts. Subie got to pose on the creator board and on the piano. 🎹

Subie and I went to the library to get a picture with this cool Tyrannosaurus they have on display there. The children's section is decorated with a dinosaur theme. It seemed like a fun place to take a picture. For those of you who don't already know, Subie is a female Chinese alligator.

Took this picture of Subie at our favorite pub, Pizza Pub! It's a great place to get drinks and pizza. 🍕 We also went to the car wash today.
