[Help] Iphone 17 won't charge or power on after using new charger

Hello,

I have only had my iphone 17 for about half a year and everything has been fine until now. I recently started using a new charger for it. Today when I plugged my phone in, it wouldn't charge and powered off when I unplugged it. I was able to turn it back on after a while by pressing the volume+power buttons. I tried plugging it in again and the same thing happened.

After that, I noticed my phone was burning battery extremely fast even on airplane mode. During this time I checked my battery health and it was still normal. At that point I turned it off and wasn't able to turn it back on for like an hour, even with it plugged into a (different) charger.

Finally I tried charging it with a wireless charger and it finally turned on, but now it indicates that it is charging but is actually slowly losing battery.

Is there any way that the charger somehow broke the battery? It was fine before I plugged it into that charger. Has anybody had a similar experience? How long does this kind of thing take to fix. I did try charging my macbook with that charger and it didn't work either so I suspect it. TIA

Today when I plugged my phone in, it wouldn't charge and powered off when I unplugged it. I was able to turn it back on after a while by pressing the volume+power buttons. After that, I noticed my phone was burning battery extremely fast even on airplane mode. At that point I turned it off and wasn't able to turn it back on for like an hour, even with it plugged into a (different) charger. I tried pressing volume up, volume down, then the power button but as far as I can tell it didn't work.

TIA

Ding posts about meeting his favorite team Juventus (translation in post)

"I traveled a long distance to come to Hong Kong and exchanged gifts with a football team I like.

Yildiz said that his knee is not completely healed yet, and he will be playing as a substitute tomorrow to warm up. I gave him a chess book. He expressed interest in logographic languages like Chinese, and views each character as a small picture. He reminded me of a good student in the classroom, very polite, and sought topics to break the ice when the atmosphere became awkward.

McKennie was a lively guy. He was the first one to rush over and told me that he was playing chess online that morning. He had me sign "To Weston" on the chessboard, like he was claiming it for himself. He even told me that he saw videos of me and showed them to American captain Pulisic, to which the other replied, "love this guy". (doge)

I watched a bit of their practice that evening. First they ran laps, then scrimmages. At the end, when the players were signing items for fans as they came off the field, Zhegrova did something strange. He ran all the way to the fans at the very back, signed one item, then jogged away. No wonder his play is also confusing to watch."
