Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters

If anyone here is an EMJM scholar or is currently planning to apply, I'd love to connect!

I'm very interested in applying for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's (EMJM) program specifically EPOG (Economic Policies for the Global Bifurcation).

I'm a Business Economics graduate, with a GWA of 1.49, internationally published research, and is currently employed as business strategy and planning assistant manager.

I'd like to know, with my background and experience, if I could stand a chance and land a full scholarship? I also want to learn more about the experience beyond what I've already read online. I know it's a highly competitive program with a very selective admission process, but I'd love to hear firsthand insights from current scholars, alumni, or fellow applicants.

I'd appreciate any tips, advice, or personal experiences you can share. Thank you!

empire bookstore

Sharing my Empire Bookstore experience for all the UK cover enthusiasts here in Manila/PH 📚

I've ordered from Empire Bookstore three times now, and thankfully all of my transactions have been successful—no missing books or canceled orders.

I was honestly hesitant to order at first because of the mixed reviews here on Reddit, but I decided to take the risk. My first order was just one book, and it arrived after about 2 weeks. My second order took around 3 weeks, while my most recent one took about a month.

To be fair, one of the books in my latest order was a pre-order, so I expected some delay. That said, their customer service is definitely their weakest point. They don't proactively notify you about delays and usually just give the standard estimate of 10–19 days, so it's pretty much up to you to keep track of your order. What worked for me was checking in for updates once or twice a week and following up if the estimated delivery window had already passed.

Despite that, I still think they have one of the better selections of books here, especially if you're after UK editions. Their prices are also relatively cheaper than other bookstores, and they even accept special requests for titles.

Bottom line: If you decide to order from Empire Bookstore, go in with patience and expect to do a little chasing for updates. 😅 If you're okay with waiting, the prices and UK edition selection make it worth considering.

Anyway, here's my latest book mail from them! I also really appreciated the packaging—it somehow made up for the long wait. 😂📦

[anyone here who has these books on their tbr?]
