2012 Frontier SV w/ 30k miles! Got it knocked down to 17k out the door. Worried about the frame… not too late to back out if I had to. Do you guys think it’s worth it to get this gem and pay to get the frame inspected, cleaned up, and repaired?

I’m picking up a 2022 xl today and have been reading all about transmission concerns and mixed reliability opinions.
I saw some murmurs about some kind of tune for transmission smoothness and another word about getting an AOS (unrelated). I’d like to keep this truck for as long as possible and plan to pull a 4-5k pound trailer in occasion for my girlfriend’s business.
The truck still has about a year on the drivetrain warranty. I need to bring it in for windshield adhesion recall and was wondering if I could ask for them to inspect/express concerns about transmission issues and they would ease my mind under warranty.
What advice would you have for someone looking to improve reliability on their Ranger?
P.S. Bigger tires, raptor style grille and LEDs, and black badges coming soon too :)

Have any of you swapped from HID to LED?
Thought I’d take on a challenge and have just caused myself a bunch of headaches. Got these AKKON headlights meant for a WRX (halogen) and new connectors to splice them into my oem harness. I’ve been using AI to try and match the wiring but have been bombing over and over lol.
At the moment, when I flick my brights the C-lights and low beams come on 😆
Was just wondering if anyone has done this swap and has advice :)
