Halal fast food and joints

Hi,

I appreciate this may have been asked but it seems to be older posts. I’m staying in Newport and was planning to visit around MOA. I am aware there is not a lot of halal certification, does anyone know any fast food or restaurants that serve Halal food. My last trip I was told some jolly bees were halal by staff but when I clarified they said no we’re not. Seems it was a confusion, thanks in advance

Discount stores (day to day etc)

I was wondering what area would be comparable within Doha or Deira in Dubai, I’m with family who loves visiting discount stores. I found what seems to be the original Day to Day and another day to day per Google. I was not sure if one is better than the other but also if there is an area comparable. I’m not looking for random items like the in Souq waqif bur more what would be discounted random beauty, household and food items.

Anyone have any suggestions and which is better to visit the day to day or official day to day

Newport Manila or Conrad at NYE

We’re staying in Manila between the 30th and the 2nd Jan.

I’ve stayed in Newport before and it’s a nice complex and the Hilton offered a personal service making special meals every day. The mall was easy to access and nice. I’ve been to MOA and it’s okay.

I’m curious which would be better for New Year’s Eve, we want to see the fireworks but are not interested in partying. I am not sure if either mall closes earlier and which is worst for food / traffic at that time of year. The plan is earlier in the day to go out and get hair done or go shopping downtown

Which would you suggest Hilton Newport or Conrad in Manila
