Netflix Season 2 butchered the series

I was so hopeful for this series after season 1 but season 2 destroyed all of that hope.

Uncle iroh and zuko are the worst part of this series. I cant believe how dull they made such great characters.

Not to mention half of the scenes dont make sense because they cant commit to the changes theyre making.

For example: zuko helps azula, talks about capturing the avatar, then all of sudden turns on her because iroh showed up? There was a reason zuko turned on azula in the cartoon, the netflix adaptation removed that reason but failed to give zuko a compelling change of character arc. Its like it was a completely different character altogether.

The whole betrayal scene of azula bringing zuko back just to find out they were prisoners was supposed to be the huge eye opener for zuko.
The entire zuko alone arc was insufferable.

Azula is growing on me but i cant STAND the actress for mai. The LEGOness of it all throws me off and i just dont picture zuko with her in season 3 at all.

Im not going to mention how they butchered the painted lady by announcing to everyone who she is 🙄.

And sokka spent half the season crying over a girl he barely got to know. Then cried over a girl he spent the entire season pushing away. It was so out of character.

Toph was honestly the greatest part of this entire season. But i had to force myself to finish this season because it was so boring.

What was stopping us from visiting Norgan previously?

Always thought the dlc would be some sort of alternate world or some distant land across the far reaches of the brine due to all the rivage elder quests.

But it seems norgan the dlc area was once a part of vermund and it doesnt seem that far. No huge brine gap that a gryphon couldnt fly towards.

(We literally fly from batthal to vermund in the prologue) which im guessing is around the same distance in a sense.

Was there a fog over Norgan like some sort of mists of pandaria? Or was it invisible until the cycle was broken? In ddda if im not mistaken bitterblack isle sort of rises out of the ocean. But i dont think an icy zone was hidden under the brine all this time.

What do you think it was thats been separating our world from the land of norgan and where does he rivage elder fit into all of this?

The DLC Poll - What did you ask for?

For those of us who played during the release months, there was a poll by capcom on what we wanted to see for dlc— lots of people said it amounted to nothing and now we know thatw asnt true at all.

So what did you ask for?

One of the main things I asked for was a DRUID-like vocation. One where we could transform into a wolf or bear and fight alongside our pawns.

Curious to know how many people may have asked for something similar? Maybe someones idea was heard and implemented in the dlc.

Monk Vocation coming?

Lots of unarmed attacks were added to seemingly all melee vocations alongside archer. With even more adjustments in the upcoming august update.

There was a rumored monk class that was planned /scrapped— it seems we could be getting it in the dlc?

All this unarmed combat cant be a coincidence.

The capcom timeline leak was fake

Monster Hunter Wilds dlc just got announced and its not the same name nor close to the same concept. Which confirms the dragon princess dlc timeline was never real.

Burgle your turts

I didnt realize such an iconic short series had such an active following after all these years.

Hears to hoping this series could one day be renewed or added onto in the future with perhaps a new family duo.

Born to Clerics of Illmater, he was “cursed” as stated by his father, to possess the very magics his father opposed. Necromancy.

Hes the product of a bargain made by his father in a “selfless” act to save a village from being destroyed.

The fiend would protect over the village, and the only price this good, strong willed cleric would have to pay is the influence of his first born. His son would possess the very magic he preached as dark and looked down upon.

In training growing up, what shouldve been a hand of radiance instead was a bone chilling touch.

What shouldve been interest in the healing arts, instead turned to interest in necromancy. However despite the power his son shown, nurture seemed to have prevailed as his son had been caring, and empathetic despite possessing magic that he considered to be dark.

Never did he imagine that his son would be kidnapped by a nautiloid, where he could no longer influence his son to the side of good.
Will his son be the righteous follower of ilmater his father taught him to be, or fall for the influence bestowed upon him by the tadpole?
