Here’s another one… so crazy and so exhausting. 😵💫
Here’s another one… so crazy and so exhausting. 😵💫
CNN is now reporting that there is a shortage of estradiol patches and I have seen many people comment on how they cannot get these patches. Dr. Mary Claire Haver is being interviewed on the segment and I find it very interesting that FDA is stating there is no shortage when in fact is because we are having such a hard time finding them.
I just wanted to share this as soon as I saw it on Instagram 🙂
I love watching Jeopardy, but I feel like my perimenopause brain fog is making me lose and this is very annoying! I like to feel smart when I answer questions, but I cannot for the life of me think of the words to answer the questions! I feel crazy 🤪
The other night we went to my brother-in-law‘s surprise 50th birthday party. I had three glasses of wine. I typically only have two anymore, but I thought it’s a birthday party. I’ll have one more glass and I regret it.
I was up that night with crazy heart palpitations. My anxiety was through the roof. I kept thinking my friend was mad at me and I know she’s not. I could not go back to sleep. I was a complete zombie yesterday from lack of sleep. It’s insane to me that I used to be able to have a whole bottle of wine to myself and not feel anything and now I can only have two glasses of wine. I went to bed yesterday at 8 PM and slept all through the night because how exhausted I was, AND I’m still feeling the effects of that third glass of wine. WTH.
After everything we have to put up with in perimenopause, having an extra glass of wine, shouldn’t make us feel horrible. It’s not fair!
Anyone have fun old lady hobbies that keeps our minds off of perimenopause symptoms??
Mine include:
Birding 🪶
Sourdough bread baking 🍞
House plant hoarding 🪴
Since skin changes with perimenopause and menopause with is annoying… what is everyone using or maybe what have you had to switch up in your skin care routines?
For me, I’m finding that I’m more dry. So I’m applying more moisturizer at night… I’m an esthetician so your input would be helpful too when I talk to my clients 🙂
I just got my blood work done for testosterone and my clinician said it was low. Soooo what should I expect at the follow up appointment? What has everyone’s experiences been when starting testosterone?
My eyes feel so dry all the time. At first I thought it was allergies, but I’ve never had issues with them before. I feel like it’s getting worse… every time I blink I feel like sand is in them, they are slightly red but nothing too crazy. It’s driving me nuts.
Has anyone had this symptom with perimenopause or does any one have eye drops they like if it’s not a symptom??
Thanks!!
Hi! Does anyone have any book recs for Perimenopause?? Thanks!!
Anyone else have weird food aversions since perimenopause symptoms started? I can’t stomach salmon, like even typing this out I want to gag 🤣
Also, I don’t like the smell of coffee- well like coffee that has gotten cold. I can drink it but I don’t like the smell of cold left out coffee! Like what?! Hahahaha I’m laughing writing this because I hope I am making sense 🙃🤣
Do I need to fast before getting just testosterone? I want to go in the morning but if I can't do it right away I hate not being able to eat! Thanks!!
I can't figure my guy out. I do weekly water changes, I check parameters, I took out anything sharp that could've tore his fins… its driving me crazy. Tips or advice?? Thanks so much!!
My clinician has agreed with me that I need to get my testosterone tested. I have negative 100 libido, my muscles aren't looking very good anymore and I'm tired.
If I test low in it and then have to start testosterone, what should I expect?? I don't want acne or chin hair or anything like that, I'm scared!!
Thanks in advance!!
