What has helped you with your turn technique?

Hi, i'm F21 and have been doing ballet for a couple of years now but am currently in intermediate classes. For a while now turns have not been my strongest suit. I've noticed it requires a lot of coordination as well as timing everything properly.

i know it's easy to say well just spot or make sure you turn out your leg in passe to get you around, i have a lot of issue trying to make note of everything that is happening at once, if i focus on one thing like spotting? there goes my technique, or focus on my legs, well there goes my spotting and i panic and i forget to.

what tips do you guys have on improving turns or spotting? i'd really appreciate it! thank you :)

Why are some brands honest about some fibers but not all?

Hi! so i had this question for a long time and it really bothered me, because i see this not just in huge brands like HouseofCB but even in brands that differentiate themselves from fast fashion.

I've noticed this trend where when cotton, silk, linen, etc is involved they boast about it as a selling point, but whenever it's polyester, nylon, or a blend, they be as vague as possible about the fibers, so instead of 100% cotton or 98% cotton 2% elastane it's like "made of the most high quality french chiffon" or like "made of premium satin" and one i saw was "Made from a soft ITY jersey" and i was like what on earth is ITY fabric? googled it and “ITY jersey stands for Interlock Twist Yarn jersey. It is a popular, stretchy knit fabric typically made from a blend of polyester and spandex.” You couldn’t have said 95% polyester 5% spandex??? it's very frustrating especially with slower fashion or sustainable brands because the whole point is transparency? why do i have to go through hoops to find out what i'm spending $200 on?

has anyone else noticed this trend? and if so how do you feel about it? what do you do when trying to shop from brands that do so?

Tweet went viral but pushing misinformation

I saw this tweet yesterday with 103K likes, so basically an artist was trying to figure out how to draw cleavage and someone quote retweeted and said "oh the first one is small boobs with a push up bra" (it was actually just close set with what looked like upper fullness) the third one is how it looks when you aren't wearing a bra (it was wider roots) and the third is when you're in a bra (it was a fuller on bottom or pendulous shape?)" and people were actually agreeing with them and thinking they were correct?

and i felt so bad because women in the comments were like "oh well i look like the first one when i'm not wearing a bra (that likely just means they are close set) it's crazy how much misinformation is allowed to spread. It might seem like a harmless tweet but i think it just further pushes the narrative that breasts all come in one shape but that is not conclusive. it heavily depends on your roots, wether you have upper fullness, how close set or wide set your shape is, etc, and i think a lot of people unfortunately due to victoria's secret and plus 4 sizing are not properly informed on this, and therefore think something is wrong with them if this doesn't apply to them, but i wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
